Greatdane21 Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Josh Allen is essentially the only QB on the roster Mitch T is as good as gone Davis Webb is a FA So what direction will the Bills go to fill these positions??? Quote
frostbitmic Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 #2 Mitch Trubisky or Andy Dalton #3 A late round draft pick 2 Quote
zow2 Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 Who knows. Are there any other QB’s who may need a do-over year behind Allen? Quote
Albany,n.y. Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 They bring in a veteran & bring a late draft choice/UFA into camp to compete for the practice squad. I won't be surprised if Webb gets Shea Tierney's job as assistant QB coach because Tierney is probably joining Daboll as his QB coach. Tierney is very close with Daboll, joining him in Buffalo in 2018 from Alabama. Maybe Dorsey gets OC & Tierney gets the QBs, but that still leaves the assistant QB job open for Webb. Quote

Nuncha Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 (edited) IF the W's release him, would be great to have him as a backup and cheerleader. Edited January 28, 2022 by Azucho98 2 Quote

Funny you say that i was thinking about that the other day, he aint what he used to be but has great hands and can still make big plays, id take him. Quote
MAJBobby Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 I think it still will be Mitch Trubisky 1 1 Quote
ghostwriter Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 I think Trubisky is gone. I wouldn’t mind Jacoby Brissett though. I think the dude can play and as far as backup QBs go, he is certainly one of the better ones in the league. He has a similar skill set to Josh Allen, albeit a watered down one, but still a solid option nonetheless. Quote

What team would want him? Bucs if Brady retires? Texans? Just don't see a starting job out there that he would be a good fit. As I write that Giants popped into my head but I think they will draft another QB. They have new GM and new HC, they won't want to be saddled with resurrecting Trubisky's career. 1 Quote
BuffaloBills1998 Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 Reportedly Beane told Trubisky and his agent that if he can’t find an opportunity that they have a place for him here. I would love to see Mitch find another opportunity elsewhere but I wouldn’t mind if he came back and stuck around for another year or two 2 Quote
BuffaloBillsGospel Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 To everyone saying you think Trubisky is gone. I'm curious where you think he's going to go? His days as a starter are gone I'd say, this might be an ideal fit for him and it certainly would be for us. 1 Quote

What was his point to come to a place where he clearly isn't gonna unseat an MVP vote leader? Quote
Nextmanup Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 Honestly, who cares? If Josh Allen goes down for a substantial period of time, the season will be lost. It's the same for every team in the league. 1 Quote
