gomper Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Super Bowl 25. With apologies to the younger generation, this was the most painful. 1 7 1 Quote
chaccof Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Actually this entire week is tough - yesterday was 30 years since the loss to the Redskins, I think tomorrow is 29 years for the 1st Cowboys loss and Saturday is 28 years from Cowboys loss Part II.... 1 2 4 Quote

You have to laugh at all these "anniversaries" or else you'll cry. 1 Quote

Can’t disagree with it’s consideration. Many people believe “13 seconds” cost the team a championship, but even if they won that game, they’d still have to win 2 more. Wide Right had championship at our fingertips until the ghost of Tim Mara pushed that kick wide of its target. 2 Quote
stevestojan Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Wide Right is the worst, no question. 13 seconds is most recent so it hurts but that kick sails 6 feet to the left and the entire history of the Bills changes. I was 11 and remember it like it was yesterday. 5 1 Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 I was 31 years old when wide right happened. I thought nothing involving the Bills could ever get more painful. Until 13 seconds. This was our championship year, with our young HOF qb. Quote
Nitro Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 I watched in the middle of the Saudi desert in a MWR facility with a bunch of guys from NYC. Lone Bills fan. It does not get any better than that. (sarcasm). I reality they were all cool guys. 1 Quote
HOUSE Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 The kick was good, The NFL destroyed the tape 3 1 Quote

Chicken Boo Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 That's my earliest Bills memory. I was 7. Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Even if Norwood had made the kick, 13 seconds could have been outdone by 4 seconds? 1 2 Quote
ProcessTruster Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 (edited) nah... this team is rockin. McBeanes have a roster now that 90% of the league cannot compete with. I'm pretty happy right now that McBeanes didn't blow the cap chasing shiny objects and as a result have a sustainable winner capable of running the table any of the next few years. pretty cool, actually. Plus, the entire media is behind them now with the *****--ty way the game went down. Bills could be the new "America's Team" pretty soon. Trust the Process. This chiefs game was tougher for me. I was 8 during that Giants superbowl. I cried afterwards. I now have an 8 year old and he cried hard after the chiefs game, so much worse. Quote
Joe Ferguson Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 More salt to the wound. We were inches away from going to this year's Super Bowl. Groot had that INT from Mahomes... Quote
benderbender Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 Lived through the SB losses, the Forward Lateral, No Goal, McKelvin, Peterman, and 13 seconds hurt the most. Quote
