TheyCallMeAndy Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Who would have thought in 201-whatever that our OC, who only had the job because he was buds with Marrone, would someday be a NFL HC. Good for him! 6 1 1 Quote
JMF2006 Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Can you imagine if they didn't hire him and he had to go back to GB without Adams and Rodgers? He probably wouldn't be inline for anything anywhere after 2022 and missing 2 mega stars. Quote
Protocal69 Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Does this mean Aaron Rodgers follows him to Denver? 8 3 Quote
Nihilarian Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 This is hilarious! He didn't call the plays in GB 2 2 Quote

SirAndrew Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 I can’t believe Elway has kept his job in Denver. This guy makes a lot of bad moves. 3 5 2 Quote

Been rumored since last year that it is a trade destination for him. And it’s the Elway model to go get this type of QB. I would love him being in KC’s division. 5 12 1 Quote

Yeah…this is really the only reason it makes sense. Agree that it benefits the Bills (from a year-to-year home field perspective) to have Mahomes facing Herbert, Rodgers, and Carr while Josh is beating up on Wilson, Tua, and McCorkle. 7 2 2 Quote

SCBills Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Last thing we need is another elite QB in the AFC, but with there already being 4 + Lamar, what’s another one added to the mix… Especially with him potentially going to KC’s division. Quote

He hasn’t, Elway no longer GM. Although he seems to still have a voice in the organization. This will not go over great out here in Denver, unless Rodgers comes with him. 2 Quote

Well, he did get Kubiak to be his HC (who used to be his backup) Hired Wade Phillips as his DC. Found a way to bring in QB Peyton Manning to win a SB. Elway hired in 2011. Denver stunk previously with Josh McDaniel's as HC. Hired John Fox and Denver went from 4-12 to lost Div in 2011, lost Div 2012, lost SB, lost Div, won SB in 2015. The Denver owner (Pat Bowlen) passed on in 2019 and ownership has been in disarray ever since. 2 Quote
GunnerBill Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Good on Nate. I am not sure I'd love it if I was a Broncos fan but I hope he does well. Quote
