Too many teams are being built to “stop” and beat their divisional front runner instead of simply trying to be uniquely dominant and to set a new standard. Case in point the NY Jets and Miami Dolphins, wherein the NYJ have the defense to stop the Bills, but lack the offense, and the Fins who have the offense to score with the Bills, but lack the D to contain the Bills offense. Throw in the ST X-factor and you see how difficult it is to pass a dominant divisional rival. The true mark of contender is having a QB who can win when everything around them breaks down.

Bills should pay close attention to whoever the Raiders and Broncos hire as new HC

Yeah, and the coaches hired by the local junior high schools too.

HC should be offensive minded in every situation.

Having a defense guy as the HC is flat out the wrong way to go.

Why? B/C if the offensive genius in the house is plucked away to a HC job, you have to start over--which might well be the Bills this season.

If the offensive guy is your HC, he'll never be plucked away.

And offense is WAY more important than defense in the modern NFL.

Bill Belichick disagrees, I would also state the way our team has actually gotten better this year would be another point.  Defensive coaches definitely have more staying power.  Look at Tomlin too.
