Mango Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Would not be shocked. But the divisional game was such an emotional and physical battle for everybody involved, it will be tough to get back up for. I would not be shocked if the Bengals game is closer than it should be because of it. Quote
Albwan Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Not so sure of that ..I think kc was highly motivated to play Buffalo by many things... teams tend to have a letdown after huge wins like that. Bengals may surprise them. That I said I hate the chiefs. 2 Quote
Heitz Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 I've been surprised that everyone thinks the NFC (Rams in particular) will be a push-over. Their D is no joke, as has been pointed out, so I don't think this is automatic as people think. Guess we gonna find out... 2 Quote

I'm with you... either of those teams has a front four that can get pressure from anywhere. Reminds me of the high-scoring, undefeated Pats* going up against the Giants defense. I hope Stafford gets the ring that Barry Sanders never had a shot at. Spending most of your career in Detroit has to be soul-crushing. Edited January 27, 2022 by Sandhill Mike Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 That will be hard to accept....But I think the SB will be competitive. Quote

Many ppl have said it was the best game they ever watched hands down. Saw an article that showed twitter comments and ppl were losing their mind. Couldn't believe what they were seeing lol I work in a national call center in Buffalo.. use your imagination to figure which one out. Today I got a call from Washington state. They were avid football fans and were devastated by the Bills loss. Quote
Big C Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 The NFC teams have better defensive lines than us. I think they give Mahomes trouble. If it’s Chiefs/Rams I think the Rams take it. Hopefully Cincinnati wins and we don’t have to worry about it. Quote
Scott7975 Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 (edited) I don't think the Bengals get rolled. They have a high powered offense. KC has a weak secondary. The Bengals weakness is their o line. Rams have a pretty good pass rush that will actually tackle if they get there. Edited January 29, 2022 by Scott7975 Quote
Jeffbigalls Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 The game will have vinovich, should allow for a shoot out Last game these 2 played, the game was dictated by torbert and the mix and match crew as hussey and 2 others where replaced last minute likley due to covid Another thing KC lost 2 starting oline men in first 6-7 play Quote
Mr. WEO Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 If Cincy is watching the Bills game on how NOT to defend the Chiefs, this one won't be a 4 TD loss.... Quote
Bruce Smith Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 I think Burrow is going to light up KC. Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 To me last week was the Super Bowl between the 2 best teams and QB's in the NFL. A little word of wisdom to Cincy, just because you beat them in the regular season doesn't mean you're doing it in the playoffs. The 49ers & Rams are nice structured teams but neither Garapolo or Stafford are on the level of Allen or Mahomes. The winner of our game was going all the way. And there's no one that can convince me otherwise. Quote
zow2 Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 I think the Chiefs suffer from a hangover tomorrow. The Bengals bring energy and punch em in the mouth early. KC recovers in the 2nd half to win by 6. Quote

Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Hey Irv! Just checking in to hand you your receipts. This aged well, didn’t it? 4 2 Quote
Rick 'r Mortis Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 I laughed at this thread then and I'm laughing now. Quote
BigDingus Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Mahomes, 83 yards & 3 points in the 2nd half + OT. Blew at 21-3 lead. They mocked us saying last week was OUR Super Bowl, but the way they played today, seemed like it was THEIR Super Bowl too. They didn't have enough in the tank to persevere. 2 Quote

Nobody gonna stop Chiefs going forward. If we won, we would be Super Bowl champions. Didn't happen. Props to the Chiefs. We can B word about OT rules. They are what they are. KC is going to roll the rest of these pretenders. First, I’ll say that I thought the Chiefs were going to roll today too. But, you were right about the OT rules; the rules and coin flip did not stop Cincy from making a play to pull it out. Quote
