For one thing, the new hire may have an "NIH" (not invented here) attitude, and/or may want to bring in his own guys. I would expect Bienemy and Spagnuolo to get looks as the Bears HC now. I would expect Poles to not be too interested in a defensive coach who Bienemy/Reid have been able to steal lunchmoney from and kick sand in his face (Frazier) I'll push against this a little because being a head coach is about so much more than tactical problems in just one game - it's hiring a staff, having a vision, a particular culture, etc. The Bills got the better of KC's offense in a big game early in the season, and in the playoff game they did a decent job of containing a truly explosive offense (holding them to 26 points) for the first 59 minutes. There's a bigger picture to consider then just those final 4 minutes (including OT). 1 Quote

It's kind of like saying Belichick isn't worthy of being a HC because of his recent s**tshow. Frazier has worked as a coach for 30+ years. He's not defined by one evening. I didn't say it's fair; I just think the guy is radioactive after that very public meltdown. Quote

Most of their talent came from FA signings. 29 of the 45 Chiefs players who took snaps vs the Bills were either drafted by the Chiefs or were signed as rookie free agents. A handful of others have been with KC long-term after another team discarded them as rookies or shortly after. The only prominent players on KC's roster signed via trade or free agency are: Orlando Brown, Joe Thuney, Frank Clark, Tyrann Mathieu, Anthony Hitchens, Melvin Ingram. 1 Quote

Gave up 20 points. Mahomes, Kelce and Hill all played too. Wait, my bad, I know that doesn’t count though because it doesn’t the narrative. I swear, a message board after a loss would be a fascinating study in human nature. Edited January 26, 2022 by purple haze Quote
