YoloinOhio Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 22 years old. More TD catches in a playoff game than any other WR in nfl history. There are like 18 guys tied with 3. And they said he couldn’t run a whole route tree. 4th rd pick. Either Beane or chad hall is a genius, or both. 9 12 2 Quote
atlbillsfan1975 Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 (edited) Also a very cool, low key guy. Glad he is on our team. Edited January 25, 2022 by atlbillsfan1975 6 3 2 4 Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Josh called the ankle breaker route. Things we don't always know as fans. Elite QB's do so much more than we even know. Daboll is probably having success because of Allen. 17 3 1 Quote
ColoradoBills Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Drafting Gabe was an extremely big hit for Beane and his team. I hope like hell that they find another Day 3 WR in this year's draft! 3 1 2 Quote
Dr.Mantis_Toboggan Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 I remember reading on draft day, something to the effect that after he got the call from Buffalo he went out and started running routes. Nice to see the hard work paying off for the kid. 10 3 Quote
thenorthremembers Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 He will be the #2 next year. Hoping he keeps it up. 3 12 Quote

Beane has definitely hit on some value picks that have made a difference over the last couple years. Regardless of whether Mc Jauron ever gets over the hump, I'm fairly confident we atleast have the right guy in the front office. 2 Quote
Success Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 He came thisclose to another toe drag, too. What a game. Glad he's a Bill. 6 Quote

"If only we had a better receiver!" There's nothing wrong with wanting to improve the defense. That certainly plays into McD's proclivities and our draft history. Nonetheless, coaching mistakes have occupied the majority of posts on 13 seconds. Best way to counter KC is to match them with playmakers on offense. We need to add a top end explosive WR to stress the opponents D even more and take some of the burden off of Allen. 1 Quote

That’s what this group lacks. The problem in the last 13 seconds wasn’t personnel…it was coaching. Quote

Speed on both sides of the ball. There was no defensive scheme or call to make up for the difference in what tyreek hill could do and our defenders, as athletic, skilled and smart as they are. 3 Quote

We need to make sure Allen has enough weapons and protection that he can sustain this kind of excellence. If you think we need to run it back on offense and blow everything on defense I don’t know what to tell you. Heck, we tried running it back with the same line as last year and look what happened. 2 Quote

They had 3 plays to get one stop and failed. It's not like the coaches called a punt block formation. They failed to make a single stop. Quote

You are right in that Beane has done some solid work in those mid rounds aside from Cody Ford (late 2nd), but pobody's nerfect, and after all he's more than made up for it by landing Spencer Brown. The dbs and safeties played way back acting like we had a 4 point lead. That’s coaching, man. 2 Quote
