Paulus Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 With 13 seconds left, could the DBs have just held the WRs, and taken the time pff the clock, while the rest of the defense gets after the QB? The gain would be 5 yards and a 1st, but the time would have been burnt off the clock during the play. I seem to remember the Ravens doing that years ago. Was there a rule change to prevent such acts?

They would have just gave them a 1st. Moved ball 5 yards and reset clock to 13 secs. Keep doing it they will get to goal line with 13 secs on clock. 😆
