Chaos Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 Josh needs to hone his tackling skills sk he can step in and play MLB when the defense needs to stop another team with 13 second left in a game. Also his pass defense skills in the event the last play is going to be a Hail Mary for the other team. Finally his punting skills so wE don’t continue to waste a roster spot on a punter. 1 Quote

BuffaloBaumer Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 The most important thing he needs to work on is whatever new offense is being installed. There will be tons of changes including receivers which is why the coaches losing the Super Bowl this year hurts so much. Quote

My biggest concern would be him thinking he has to work on anything. Nobody is beyond improvements, sitting on your laurels gets you sitting on the couch. 1 Quote
Success Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 Is Josh Allen's trajectory unprecedented? I don't even Brady saw such significant increases in the measurables. But I'm too lazy to look it up. The only thing I know is that he'll be even better next season. Quote

Long passes short passes body and foot placement. After watching what Josh has become, what does he still need to work on this off season? Doesn’t seem there is much left to do, he hit long some passes but I guess there is still a little work there, some times he could go to the check down a little quicker, but really what is left to improve on? Touch passes, putting a little arc on them when necessary, and protecting the ball. 1 Quote

There is talk of Dorsey going to the giants but that is stupid if he does , our organization is much better and our QB is TEN times better. Dorsey would have more success staying here than going there . We could also promote WR coach Chad Hall. 11 minutes ago, Chaos said: Josh needs to hone his tackling skills sk he can step in and play MLB when the defense needs to stop another team with 13 second left in a game. If it were up to me there would be no kicking game, saving 4 roster spots. Quote
billsfan89 Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 I think he still has some things he needs to "iron out" of course at this point it is mostly super small stuff but I think Josh will have to work on the regular season version of himself. Running less so he can unleash the "playoff 2021 Josh" on the league consistently for years to come. That means less "hero ball" in the regular season and more taking what the defense gives him on a consistent basis. 1 Quote
BillMafia716ix Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 Just learn to kill plays sooner when it’s not there. Pick and choose when to run. Take less hits Quote

Even if a whole new offensive system is installed the growing pains will be long gone by the time the playoffs roll around. As long as Allen is here, the regular season is just for fine tuning the team for the games that matter. Quote
