Was there any way in OT to give them a FG and protect the end zone at all costs?

With all the crazy analytics stuff,  was there any strategy available for the Bills D to practically hand KC 3 points, but put a wall around the end zone?  Sounds stupid,  But Mahomes and KC are so good it was our only chance to survive.  Once KC got to midfield, felt like it was inevitable the way we played D..

I don't think so.  When you can gain 10-15 yds on EACH play, pretty much at will there's no "strategy" that can stop that .  It's easy to just march down the field 1 play at a time.  75 yds later - TD.

Yes, put 13 seconds on the clock and have the Chiefs start on their own 25.

Because the coaches are such good sports, they counterbalanced that with time tested platitudes such as "keep your back to the ball", "take the wrong angle if possible", and "don't tackle anyone"

During the 13 seconds, I was thinking of flooding the field with all DBs and LBs and not rushing anyone. You knew Mahommes had to throw it quick anyway. The DL was useless for those 2 plays... why not cover the field with more bodies in the middle of the field.
