Rousseau, Basham and Epenesa need to take pretty big jumps.  The tough part is that we don't know if they can/will.  I don't want to spend another high pick/more money on edge rushers.

I'd like us to get a top IDL, IOL, CB.

If Jermaine Johnson is there at our pick, do you take him. I watched his film looks like he'd fit right in with the other 3 youngsters. The best thing for pass coverage is a phyco pass rush.

I've been thinking of taking all the big boards from the top 5-6 draft sites and coming up with all in one big board. It should help make mocks that fall closer to reality. At least that's the logic behind it. But not doing it, till after combine.

This one's from first pick.

Round 1 Pick 26: Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia (A)
Round 2 Pick 26: Breece Hall, RB, Iowa State (A+)
Round 3 Pick 26: George Pickens, WR, Georgia (A+)
Round 4 Pick 26: Brian Asamoah, ILB/OLB, Oklahoma (A+)
Round 5 Pick 26: Chris Paul, OG, Tulsa (A+)
Round 6 Pick 6: Mykael Wright, CB, Oregon (A+)
Round 6 Pick 25: Demani Richardson, FS/SS, Texas A&M (A+)
Round 7 Pick 10: Joshua Williams, CB, Fayetteville State (A+)
Round 7 Pick 26: Jordan Stout, P, Penn State (A+)

Why did we trade down 1 spot to 26?

One mock has the Bills getting Nakobe Dean at 25. I watched his highlights and was very impressed. He is an ILB who can go side to side, plug every open hole and can pass rush like a homing missile. Looks good in coverage as well. Sure looks like a Mahomes destroyer to me

yup he should be right up there with Hutchinson and Thibs but my guess is as the process continues he’ll be closer to top 10 than bottom half first round

In this scenario in the McD era we would have spent 3 1st round picks, 2 2nd round picks and 2 3rd round picks on the d-line. Not to mention all the FA money spent towards it and it’s nowhere close to being as dominants as it should be. Yikes.

I have concerns about Davis and it’s basically whether he’ll be more than just an early down player at the next level. I’d prefer day 1 and 2 picks to be guys that can consistently get to the QB. Not sure if that’s Davis

I watched the Senior Bowl and Boye Mafe really stood out, and they said he’ll probably test off the charts at the combine, will be interested to see where he ends up getting drafted.

Jake Ferguson also looked excellent, looks like a quick and athletic TE, made some nice catches. I would have expected him to be more of a receiving TE in college but apparently he’s a really good blocker and wasn’t used to much as a receiver. I hope the Bills are looking at him.

I used to be in favor of trading down when there's an opportunity to gain picks, but in our current situation that might not be wise.  There's no sense in getting later picks if they're just going to get stolen off our practice squad with no compensation.

I think we need to focus on interior offensive line, #2 CB, Speed wr, and D-line (1-tech DT and pass rusher), then maybe RB if one falls to us.

We will likely restructure some contracts to free up some cap room and fill a couple of these positions in free agency.

Honestly, we're in a great position because we have no immediate dire needs and we can take BPA.

And the best thing for a pass rush is excellent, sustained coverage.

My #1 guy is Kaiir Elam the CB from Florida. The guy’s incredible, there is a very real chance that he will be there at #25. Kid has Jalen Ramsey type of potential. He’s lengthy at 6’2, great ball skills and the kid is a monster in run defense too. I see him as a potential Pro Bowl player over time. Perfect guy to pair up with Tre.

From now on I draft offense and trade picks for PROVEN defensive players. Don't let McD make anymore defensive selections. This strategy worked brilliantly with Diggs. Good Lord keep doing it. And don't be afraid to go all in like the Rams. So many 1st round picks bust anyway.

I’m not opposed to doing this again, like we did for Diggs,  for the right player this is a very good option, but you gotta have all your ducks in a row before you pull that trigger.

Go Bills!!!

I'm thinking this might be the time to trade up, for an impact player they really like. 9 draft picks is to many for the way this team is built. You've got 3 teams with multiple 1st round picks, all of whom are rebuilding, that's were you strike. If that means one of next year's picks, so be it.
