1onemangang7 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 He can go now. Hope it's announced tomorrow. Running him like he's Jim Braxton won't help his longevity. Coveted opening to inherit a Josh Allen led offense. 6 1 3 3 Quote
Bferra13 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Agreed. Good luck to the Giants lol. You ain't getting Josh with you. 2 1 Quote

Took all game for the Bills to take the training wheels off and let Josh cook. A lot of wasted possessions in the 3rd quarter running Gilliam out in the flat. 8 7 1 6 Quote
buffalo2218 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 I'm hoping Josh takes over the playcalling duties himself next year. I think he's more than capable of reading defenses and dialing up better plays. Quote
LOVEMESOMEBILLS Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Imagine going 48/62 637 9/0 QB Rating of 148.99(Perfect is 157.3) plus adding 134 yards rushing on 17 attempts(7.88 YPC) through 2 games and losing. Even with a #1 ranked defense. These coaches got to step up on calls and get out of Josh's way. Personally I can't wait for Daboll to leave. Alot of odd calls and with Mathieu out of the game early they should've unleashed the passing game earlier. Gabe could've had 300 yards tonight. They literally had no answer for him. I would've went to him every play until they proved they could stop it. 12 Quote
RyanC883 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 hopefully the new OC will also tell Bean who to draft for OL, and to stop taking players of need (DL last year) instead of BPA. 2 Quote

I have all the trust in the world with Josh Allen when he's on the field. I don't know why our coaches locked down Josh like that for most of the first half. Conservative play calling is basically loser football. 3 1 Quote

It would have had it's hands full with the Bengals also. Allen is the NFL's best QB, what he just did against 2 good D's (NE and KC) were amazing. 2 Quote

Same game plan we used for every game we lost this year. Knew we were in trouble immediately. OC can't leave soon enough 2 Quote
BruceVilanch Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 I don't get wtf we were doing, my wife who watches sporadically kept on yelling "why are you running when you have Josh Allen!?!" 1 Quote
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 To me three things hurt KC play calling much more creative on offense in particular the middle part of the game Offensive line wasn't holding up very well also in middle part of game mainly Couldn't bring Mahomes down, but not sure anyone can easily do that as he is very elusive. I mean, every now and then. But it was like Daboll had no clue, and it was a middle school offense of Josh running almost every other play for a while. Quote
Nextmanup Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Allen makes the entire damned team and coaching staff look good! 3 Quote

Yep, defense actually made some stops earlier in the game. I have no clue why we didn't go for it on 4th and short again. 1 Quote
Albany,n.y. Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 A franchise QB makes everyone else look better than they are. Most HOF coaches had a franchise QB. Quote
WMDman Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 That drive with 3 straight runs was particularly brutal 1 3 Quote

Even with a #1 ranked defense. Maybe we would have EASILY won the SB this year with better coaching all year long. Better coaching = better seeding = playoff bye and home games = SB appearances and then it's just a case of winning 1 key game. The funny thing is, we'll never know, and most fans at this forum will continue to assume McDermott is the obvious answer. Quote
transplantbillsfan Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 How about Daboll puts Allen in shackles with his playcalling? 3 straight handoffs and a punt? Seriously?! 1 1 Quote
benderbender Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Yet another game where their defense is hurt in the secondary, missing their playmaker, but we insisted on running it because what? Where’s Jerry Sullivan to ask that one? Quote
buffalo2218 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 So, who do we bring in to replace Daboll if he's NY bound? Quote
