When he hits 28+ no chance he’s running like this. need to go all in next year Yeah your right. He can’t throw so once his legs go, he just won’t be good anymore. Quote
Bing Bong Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Great thread, I wanted to say the same thing. Shoot the Milwaukee Bucks just recently had a 2 time MVP superstar, and 4-5 playoff bounces early with a top league record. Took them some painful losses to learn how to make a run in the post season. 2021 champs. Mahomes had to lose to Brady just like JA did just now. 1 1 Quote
damj Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 We built a team to beat KC this year, and again came up short. Josh and the offense balled out ... defense failed Quote

We will always be in the playoffs but will always be hard to have that complete team. Basketball has 5 players on the court. So Mahomes with the largest contract in the NFL, Chiefs Super Bowl window should be about closed. Bengals might have 3 years left then. Why do teams pay QB’s a lot when they should just pay mid level QB’s for mid level play…it clearly works. 1 Quote

We had the Bengals at home next week - no disrespect to them, but we likely get to the SB if we could have just held on tonight. Quote

We blew a big chance at one this year It wasn’t a short window for Brady. And Allen is hands down the best QB in the league. He simply does that things routinely that no other QB can. Mahomes is very close in that regard so it will at least be a challenge to get to the super bowl consistently. But AFC championship game damn near every year with Allen should be expected for the next 10 years. Oh, and Allen is only getting better too. He’s not close to his prime as a passer. He’ll hit that in another 3-4 years or so. Quote

The Bulls fired their coach after their first two playoff series losses to the Pistons and didn’t start winning championships until Phil Jackson became their head coach. So possibly history would repeat itself if another coach took us over the hump for this comparison. Quote

O-line finally jelled late. Defense failed. Tough to play defense when you're saddled with a garbage LB like Edmunds. No instincts ... He's always a yard away from the play and just standing here 1 Quote
