Special K Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 As a UCF alum, I knew from the day the Bills drafted him he was going to be a future star. So proud of him, just devastated that his and Josh’s performance didn’t result in a win. 2 Quote

They were the only two Bills who showed up to play today. Pitiful. *****in' Frazier and Dabollocks killed us. Idk if you heard but we had the lead with 13 seconds left. Blaming Daboll is so far off the mark. 2 1 Quote

JohnBonhamRocks Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 (edited) I think we’re at the very least nearing the discussion of Diggs Davis being 1A and 1B not just 1 and 2. For whatever that distinction is worth. Edited January 24, 2022 by JohnBonhamRocks Quote

Scored 15 points in the last 3 minutes, including the final TD with 13 seconds on the clock. Blaming anyone offensively is INSANE. Diggs was invisible, WHO CARES. Gabe had 200 yards and 4 TD’s. We lost because our defensive coaches failed when our offense put this game away. They wrapped the gift, the defense fumbled it into the fireplace. 1 2 Quote

We also lost because of some bad offensive play calling through the first 2 1/2 quarters. With Mathieu out of the game early, he should've unleashed the passing attack we saw in the last quarter and a half. Gabe should've had alot more targets because A.) The Chiefs had absolutely no answer for him and B.) To force the defense to adjust coverage away from Diggs and Knox. Good coaches attack a glaring weakness over and over again until the other proves it can stop it. Like the Pats did to us in the wind game. Duhboll ALWAYS has stretches in games where he gets too cute with his play calling. 4 1 Quote
Aussie Joe Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Has there been a bigger effort by a Bills WR in a game that was lost? Tragic 1 Quote

If we had anything other than the best QB in the league we would have been blown out. This was a game with zero margin for error on offense and Daboll failed the test. Getting a lot of points out of an offense led by Josh Allen playing out of his mind isn't hard. I'm sick of Daboll's tendency where he overthinks things so much that he takes the ball out of his elite QB's hands. The Chiefs did it once and suffered for it. We did it twice. That was the difference in this game. 1 3 1 1 Quote

Imagine having this much of a hardon for a coach that you blame a game on him where we took the lead with 13 seconds left because of a random offensive play in the second Q. That's all I need to say. We threw away two entire drives in a shootout when our QB was playing out of his mind. And Daboll has been pulling crap like that all year. Daboll isn't terrible. He's a decent OC. He was the best we could get when when we had a young raw QB and little offensive talent. Now we have the best QB in the game with talent around him. Why should we settle for an OC with such a poor resume before he was gifted Josh Allen? 1 3 1 Quote

So the 2nd quarter doesn't matter because we had the lead with 13 seconds? Better drives in the first half mean we don't make it to that point. Come on man. We gifted the Chiefs two free drives with no points because we took the ball out of Allen's hands on critical 3rd downs. There's no defending it. 1 1 1 Quote

If you ranked “reasons for loss” and your number one isn’t “allowing 40 yards for a field goal with 13 seconds left,” you have brian Daboll hate worms eating your brain. Quote

Not allowing the Chiefs to go 40 yards with 13 seconds left? Of course the defense screwed up big time. But there was no reason the Bills shouldn't have scored on every single drive with the performance Allen gave tonight. It was the same performance he had last week where we did exactly that, against a better defense. And maybe it's crazy for me to expect perfection. But it was right there for the taking and Daboll blew it. Not for the first time this year, mind you. He has a habit of taking his own elite QB out of the game in critical moments.
