Nextmanup Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 In a crazy game like that where everyone is scoring all the time, you HAVE to give BOTH TEAMS the ball at least once! We win the coin toss and maybe Josh flies down and scores..he was totally en fuego the whole 4th quarter. Can't finish a game of this magnitude with only 1 team touching the ball in OT. Play 5 minutes or something. 6 11 4 1 Quote

Sweats Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Well, we cant change the rules just cause our team lost, which they should have won, but ****** playcalling and a sieve for a D just aint gonna cut it in championship games. Dont blame the rules, blame the coaches. 1 Quote

Steptide Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 I've said this for 10 years. Put 10 mins on the clock and let em play in ot 3 Quote
Lionel Hutz Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Stop. We couldn’t stop them with 13 seconds left in regulation. 3 straight drives we couldn’t stop the Chiefs. 3 1 Quote
Billsfanatic8989 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 (edited) Idk. I just need a few months to get over this. OT rule? Yeah change it. I just feel sick. Edited January 24, 2022 by Billsfanatic8989 1 2 Quote
Yobogoya! Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 This has happened for decades now when two elite QB’s play each other. There’s no answer for it other than to play defense. 1 1 Quote

Dont blame the rules, blame the coaches. The kickoff decision was criminal...I get that. But it is Mickey Mouse and amateurish to let the game end with only 1 team touching the ball on offense, especially in a game like this. I wouldn't be surprised if the rule is changed this off season because of this game. Quote
Warcodered Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 It sucks, and the narrative that Mahomes beat Allen is going to be bull####, they just won the coin toss. 4 1 Quote

How about coach and defend better with 13 seconds left? 2 wrongs don't make a right. The coach can make a terrible call on the kickoff AND the OT format can be bull#### too! 2 Quote
No_Matter_What Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 This is the most useless thread started after this loss and thats saying something. That is the rule, no matter how stupid, get over it. We need to be able stop 40y in two plays in 10 seconds to avoid OT next time. 2 Quote
K-9 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Agreed. The NFL deprived the fans of seeing Josh Allen with a chance because of something totally outside any player or coach’s control. Fox the OT rules. Quote

Mrbojanglezs Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 OT rule is the least of our concerns Quote
mbs Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 I would prefer no overtime in the regular season and just add quarters for playoffs. But failing to close out in regulation was the real problem here. 1 Quote
