After we scored the go ahead TD I wasn’t even thinking about the Chiefs only needing a FG ago tie it. I was just thinking that the game was over because it wasn’t enough time to do anything with only 13 freaking seconds.

I feel just like I did after Home run throwback. We got cheated out of an easy victory by complete stupidity of coaching.

Not even necessarily a "squib kick" but just a kick that was short of the end zone forcing a KC return (and running a few of those 13 seconds off the clock)

If you dint want to fire mcdermott yet you aren't watching objectively. He's out of his league, this was an all time great coaching failure. Absolute laughing stock.

Horrible job by Sean. He fritter away one of the all time QB performances in NFL history. How do you kick the ball in the end zone with 13 seconds left. The defense allowing Kelce to be uncovered with 8 seconds left . Hill not doubled in overtime was bad, but the D-line never got any pressure on Mahomes. The guy did anything he wanted. This was a game we had.

They coached scared all night, that’s McDermott’s core personality.  He’s afraid.

We probably had a few losses due to McDermott during regular season.  Being way to conservative on offense.  Not recognizing sooner that Singletary should have been the lead back.  The loss today is squarely in him.  13 seconds, you have to squib kick.  That probably ends it there.
