With 13 seconds left and Mahomes on the sidelines you force them to field it and get that extra 3 to 5 seconds off the clock. Regardless of what happened before.

Yep, Dabol didn't cover himself in glory this game. And as bad as the Bills defense was, the Chiefs defense was pretty bad too. Coaching decisions, principally not squibbing it with 13 seconds left, were the biggest difference.

The decision making by the coaches in that 13 second span was really, really bad. The players did everything needed to win.

Didn't they call timeout too?
