auburnbillsbacker Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Losing in the playoffs always hurts. Losing when a win gives the Bills an excellent chance to win the Super Bowl makes the loss absolutely awful. This could have been the year, and who knows if they will be this good in the years to come. 4 Quote

par73 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 I haven't felt this way since home run throwback. And I thought they could have won the SB that year, too. 1 Quote

Pabstblueribbon Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 I'm dying. Might need a sip of water after that one. ... and by "water" mean any light beer within reach Quote

BuffaloBaumer Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 I hate these coaches so ***** much, Buffalo will never ever win with that group, ever. 1 Quote

Just below Wide Right and just above the Music City Miracle? The worst loss I have witnessed as a Bills fan and I have been a Bills fan since 1982. I can't explain it, but this one is downright bad. 1 1 Quote

Was a poor decision. If you squib it, Hill doesn't touch the ball. 1 Quote
CoudyBills Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 My 8 year old cried just like I did after the first superbowl. Quote
Budkin Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 My buddy texted me congrats and I said “this is not over! This is the Buffalo Bills we’re talking about here.” Damn. 1 Quote

I dont understand the criticism Squib kick it .......... run off 3 or 4 seconds. They get the ball with ten seconds left and have to go 50 yards. Now they can run one play tops because if they run another play with less than 5 seconds the clock runs out without ever kicking. 1 Quote

So now we've list every one score game this year. Was shocked they kicked it deep. That last 13 seconds was an embarrassment to defensive football. We let them off the hook. It was right there for us. And we let it go. 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 What phrase will bring more dread to Buffalo sports fans decades from now? "No goal" "Music city Miracle" Or.... "13 seconds"? 1 Quote
Chicken Boo Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 (edited) Just want to point out that Diggs was open on several plays, but Josh looked elsewhere. Davis more than made up for Diggs "lack of production". It should have been over after the last TD with :13 left. Edited January 24, 2022 by Chicken Boo Quote
schoolhouserock Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 what should have happened: 1 - squib kick 2 - double hill and kelce 3 - win What actually happened: 1 - Gift Mahomes an extra 5 or so seconds 2 - play 0 or 1 coverage on hill and kelce 3 - lose The decision making by the coaches in that 13 second span was really, really bad. The players did everything needed to win. 5 1 Quote
Billz4ever Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Sad to say, but loses like this is what I've come to expect. Even when they scored with 13 seconds left, I didn't have a good feeling. That they somehow found a way to lose this game did not surprise me at all. This team is cursed. 2 1 Quote
billieve420 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Team needs to stop playing scared and afraid to lose. I think that Hill catch and run TD forced them to be way too conservative. Still hate they didn’t try to run some clock by kicking short or going for a squib kick. 2 Quote

There were a lot of issues out there tonight and Edmunds was the towards the bottom. When he attempted to tackle a Chief, the Chief went down and backward. The issue was our d-line couldn't get to Mahomes and our d-backfield became gassed. I agree ... the whole defense failed tonight. But they're only playing with 10 guys because Edmunds is ALWAYS a yard away from the play. Edited January 24, 2022 by damj Quote
