i keep hearing the media (Michael Irvin and others) say the Bills played so good against Patriots by taking out years of frustration and anger, which seems ridiculous to me. Were any of these  players or coaches around during New England and Bradys dominant years? How about they scored 7 times because they are a really good team, executing at a high level. Yeah we as fans carry that frustration and exorcised demons but the players I don't think felt all that threatened by them.

Hughes was around for some of it.  Also, these Bills players are Buffalo in every sense.  They know what the fans been through and how we all feel.  When McDermott first got here many people mocked him because he came here to change the culture.  Many people mocked and didn't believe anything about culture.  Culture makes a difference.  It shows on this team every day and every week.

But yes, they are a really good team executing at a high level.

Brady vs the rams kicking off in an hour…..and if your watching any sport channel, you wouldn’t have a clue that that game is today.  Josh vs Patty Cakes 24/7 coverage

I think feeling threatened and being aware of the history are two separate things.

McBeane, Josh, & Co. understand Buffalo and are definitely aware of the history so I would bet the importance to the fan base fueled them at least in part, but I don’t get the sense they are threatened.

Only an hour until Rams v Bucs and also England are playing West Indies in a T20 International. Those will help pass the time.

At least next week (if there is one) it’s a 8pm (3pm for you guys) so not as long a wait.

i agree they are aware of the history but once the game starts all that stuff goes out the window. that Michael Irvin video just irked me a little

Yes they are. Always good when they play in the Windies as it’s perfect time

to watch on TV.

No bad luck with The Ashes. They were just horrendous on all 3 factors of the game. 4-0 was flattering.

Poyer started the playoff game telling the team it’s the end of an era. Josh Allen ended the regular season game with “who the eff did they think I was”.

These guys have a strong pulse on the Pats.

Interesting stat was brought up on the Rich Eisen show:

There have been 6 previous occasions where a team has played both a Belichick coached team and an Andy Reid coached team in the playoffs in the same year. Not once did those teams manage wins against both coaches.

Records are meant to be broken.

Without looking it up, guarantee that most of them beat Reid and lost to Belichick. The tough one’s out of the way.

well i guess we will find out today if alot of that blowout was just a perfect storm of anger, emotion, and exorcising years of history ,or a team that is just executing at very high and consistent level now. If they come out flat and lay an egg against Chiefs, Michael Irvin's point will be made

And of that, they're all talking about how much KC has improved since week 5, which is why they're going to beat us today.  They're going to get a rude awakening in 4 hours.
