  • CorkScrewHill changed the title to Daily Covid testing for unvaccinated has been discontinued if no symptoms
Posted

It affects 12 players of all the players remaining in the playoffs, so whatever.

These policies have been arbitrary from the start. Never made sense to me.

Nfl had to be concerned about losing Rodgers for the super Bowl if the pack made it that far

He’s been immunized already to the best of my knowledge.

He isn’t subject to testing for 90 days from his first positive test (same with all who landed on the covid list) so that would take him past the SB anyway

But they were agreed by Owners and NFLPA. So dems were the rules

Actually his 90 day grace period under the old rules would have expired 2 days after the NFC Championship “Under the previous rules, Aaron Rodgers, an unvaccinated player who tested positive for COVID-19 in November, would have had to resume daily testing two days after the NFC Championship Game if the Packers qualified for the Super Bowl. Now, he won’t.”

If I recall correctly it would actually take Rodgers up to the week before the Super Bowl, I remember reading about that.

Either way, this is over due.

If the Bills make the Super Bowl I am thoroughly looking forward to a whole media week for Cole Beasley making people's heads explode.  Honestly, probably just what the team needs, run him out there to generate all the heat for something unrelated to the game and take the pressure off everyone else 😆

In either case it doesn't matter for him since they always lose the NFC championship game.

So now that we have the big "never mind," what happens to all the accrued fines?  Assuming they are still unpaid.

Unless the fines are found to have been illegal/unconstitutional/whatever, they broke the accepted rules when they still applied, so the fines stand as valid.
