I am disappointed that no team is named after wolves. Look at animal names: Bills (buffalo), Eagles, Ravens, Bengals, Colts, Lions, Bears, Panthers, Falcons, Jaguars, Dolphins, Broncos, Cardinals, Rams, and the Seahawks. When will dog family get its representation? 2 1 Quote

For some reason I assumed he was being interviewed by Ron Wolf (former Packers GM) and momentarily feared that a team was considering a Gruden-like HC trade for McDermott (with all of the poaching of our FO and coaching staff this off-season). Then I snapped back to reality (and put away the bourbon). I would have doubled down on the bourbon....just saying. Quote

He was a very nice, and gracious man, and of course, he brought up his love of the Bills, during our conversation. 🙂 When I went to UB he was a guest speaker once and it was a well attended and well behaved crowd. I cannot imagine being same these days. 1 Quote
njbuff Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 I thought Wolf Blitzer was one of Belichick's defensive play calls. I never knew it was an actual person. Quote

Cool when famous people like Wolf are such big fans. I used to love when Tim Russert used to love the Buffalo Bills on National TV too. Go Bills! Quote

Doc Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 Why would anyone blitz a wolf? It’s not like they can hold a football or anything. Quote

I would think a wolf could hold a football just fine. Our dog can hold a soccer ball in her mouth and a wolf's jaws are much longer. I would think the chances of stripping the ball out of those jaws and causing a fumble would be pretty low, too Quote

IDK, I played rugby in college and a guy had an Irish Wolfhound (think athletic pony) on the sidelines tossing a rugby ball up in the air and catching it. He smacked the dog and screamed “you popped one last week and it cost me $150!” Do you know how big a rugby ball is? That gives you an idea of how big that dog was! If a wolf could pop the ball, then take off, would you want to catch it? Give that some thought! On a related note, would you rather be attacked by a bear or a shark? I had kids, so I’ve been presented with these types of questions. It’s a part of me now. 🤷♂️ Edited January 22, 2022 by Augie 1 Quote
