Royale with Cheese Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 (edited) We should take the time and thank the Browns franchise. Both of our franchises were in the cellar for 2 decades. We got Allen and McDermott to change our franchise and they rejected them. Everyone say thank you. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2018-nfl-draft-all-signs-pointing-to-browns-taking-josh-allen-no-1-overall-right-now/ https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/report-browns-wanted-to-hire-sean-mcdermott-but-owner-disagreed/article_6a84b1df-cfc1-5ba4-b8c0-ec131c070461.html Edited January 20, 2022 by Royale with Cheese 10 1 19 5 5 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Yea, but they are the preseason champions like 3 years running. 2 17 Quote

dreadlox Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 It’s interesting to think how the draft would have played out for the Bills if the browns did take Allen. I’d assume they still take a Qb, but who? 1 1 Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Haslam and company could eff up a one car funeral. Bonus points for their abilities to fall afoul of the law in the process. 😁 1 1 Quote
Billzgobowlin Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 I'm guessing after that screw up Haslam was stripped of his decision making 1 Quote

I would guess trade up for Baker or stay put for Mason Rudolph based solely on the leaked image. Edited January 20, 2022 by Rock'em Sock'em Quote
MJS Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Huh? What are we appreciating them for? Just for sucking? 1 Quote

If that is a real image, find it interesting that Lamar was appearently off their board...and Lauletta was a possible later round fall back option. Quote
dollars 2 donuts Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 (edited) Look, it takes a village. Mind you it doesn't take a smart village. Just a a choice few idiots in the decision making department to make others' dreams come true. Browns, you did it for us back in 1980 By taking Tom Cousineau which eventually played a part in the Bills getting Kelly in 1983, and you did it for us again as Royale has referenced above. For this we say thank you. As a gesture of gratitude you can have anything you want on the second shelf or lower, but if you give us your 1st round pick next year in exchange for Bobby Hart you can choose from the third shelf and above...a lot of people are liking the football poppits. Wanted a pass first quarterback and not a running back pretending to be QB. You can't win in the playoffs with a guy like that. You'd think people would have learned after almost a decade of Mike Vick. 3 1 Quote

If you don't believe in that type of QB as "the Man" then it makes sense to cross off LJ. 1 Quote
