Marv's Neighbor Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Totally reminded of Jim Kelly to Mitch Ferotte. Love to see more of that! 2 2 Quote
Warcodered Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 If he has good hands it wouldn't surprise me, he's used so often in the run game that it's easy for teams to get surprised by it. Quote

BearNorth Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 (edited) People forget we signed Jason Peters as a UDFA and used him as a wedge buster and a blocking Tight End while Mouse McNally converted him into a Hall of Fame Tackle. Edited January 19, 2022 by BearNorth 1 Quote

Peters was a full-time TE in college so that was his more natural position. He worked out at OT at the combine and looked incredible so he started getting talked up as even a potential 1st round pick. The Arkansas coaching staff sabotaged his ascent by talking him down to teams. Bills were lucky to get him.........then they cut him and he visited the Giants but didn't sign..........then amazingly made it back to the Bills practice squad. Bills really took some risk devoting a precious roster spot to Doyle all season knowing that he wasn't ready to be a swing tackle. Glad they found a way to put him to use late in the year. 1 1 Quote

Doc Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Anyone watch the Dallas-Eagles season-ender and see how 2021 Bills draft pick Jack Anderson did in his first start with the Eagles? Quote
NewEra Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Love watching them throw out of that heavy set. The play that set up the Doyle TD was a heavy set PA rollout where Knox hesi blocked then took off and all pro JC Jokeson couldn’t keep up. ……jc Jackson when he hears someone say the name Josh Allen 1 Quote
