Some proven backup level QBs fits the need. Backup QB has a big role in helping the 2nd string depth offense improve. Bring in camp arms every year and keep one on the PS squad. Well all the good teams do it. You always develop talent no matter who you have running the game. Edited January 19, 2022 by TBBills Quote

Philly got him for a conditional 6th, they just re-committed to Hurts for next year, so they may be willing to part with Minshew for a 4th or 5th. Ideally we'll be getting an extra 3rd if Frazier becomes a HC, so a 4th/5th becomes easier to part with. Re-committed? Lol. Nah. They haven’t. Quote

What good teams have developed a Day 3 draft pick QB in the last 10 years? Dak? He wasn't developed he was thrown into the starter role from day 1. Maybe Cousins and Foles. So, it comes down to a couple of guys out of 32 teams for 10 or more years. It just seems wiser to let other teams mess around with all that and get a backup with a little experience. Quote
