How does this weeks game against KC differ from week #5 ? I am expecting the same outcome..

The Chiefs are clearly playing better so that's a problem.

On the Bills side, the loss of Tre is huge given the talent of the Chiefs receiving corps.

Ā

But the other huge difference is the play of our offensive line.Ā  Both our running attack and passing attack are so much better now.Ā Ā

One key when playing KC is Spagnolo loves to crowd the line with a lot of people and play man. They try to pressure really hard and seem to get free runners who either stop the ball carrier for a loss or get after the QB. Daboll needs to be able to deal with this and have a good game plan. Have to make them pay .

Bills need to be ready for the "mauling" the Chiefs db's gave the receivers last year....and the refs swallowed their whistles.Ā  I don't know what that is, perhaps just reciprocal play by the Bills D.Ā  Ā But, that was a big difference last year, the refs "let them play" as they say.

The Chefs have allowed 28, 34, 24 and 21 points in 4 of their past 5 games.

They average 16 since we last played them. Ā They showed the stats in the game.Ā
Ā

Doesnā€™t mean we canā€™t score on them, but they got healthy and the D improved a lot from the 32 PPG they were giving up the first part of the season. Ā
Ā

Chris Jones being healthy is a big part of that. Ā
Ā

Again, doesnā€™t mean we wonā€™t score, but if we think this is the same team we beat already we would be foolish. They are playing better on both sides of the ball then they were when we played them first time. Ā So are we thoughā€¦just saying we shouldnā€™t get over confident. Ā We need to not shoot ourselves in the foot and win the turnover battle. Ā If we do that, we will beat them again. Ā

I have a question, when the season started the Chiefs secondary was ranked 18, beginning of the season they looked worse than that. Are they now better than that?Ā

Chris Jones for them, No Tre White for us.

This will impact the game some. Remember the Bills didnā€™t have Milano. I saw Tre on Kelce a bunch from that elongated highlight reel.Ā
If any team can exploit Tre being out it will be KC.Ā
The Dline is going to need to play a heck of a game.

If the oline plays like it has since the second Pats game, points on offense shouldnā€™t be an issue.

Bills play a clean game they win.Ā

I believe the Bills can win this game because they're very good and well balanced. That said, much like beating the Patriots, until you unseat the Chiefs from their place in the AFC, they remain the team to beat and you have to do it before we can say the Bills have arrived at their objective.Ā

Ā

The Chiefs are beatable for sure. Keeping in mind that the absence of Tre White is huge when considering Hill has the world-class speed and Kelce is the best TE in the game. But, the Chiefs' Offensive Line is bit of a mess and their Defense has weaknesses the Bills can exploit. As always, it will be about applying pressure to Mahomes, much like the Steelers did to START the game, but the Steelers didn't have the Corners to stay with their receivers for the entire game. If the Bills Corners and Safeties can help provide enough coverage, the line will apply the pressure between Oliver, Phillips and the guys like Hughes and Rousseau putting some pressure off the ends. Additionally, this game will be really important for Milano and Edmunds. Can they take away the middle crossers enough to throw the timing off and can they tackle Kelce tough to keep him from getting those YAC.Ā

Ā

The Bills Offense should produce, but before we all assume it will be a track meet, we should temper expectations a bit. The Bills should score, but Singletary will likely be more important to the Offense except for Josh Allen. Of course the O-line comes in to play, but they always do. If Motor can run, the Bills will score often. If it becomes less balanced than what we've seen over the last several weeks, it could be a re-run of last year's AFC title game.Ā

Ā

After all is said and done, if Bills want to be the bullies of the AFC, they have to beat the Chiefs.

THey replaced Sorenson with Thornhill.

Still a hole, but an upgrade.

Ā

The real difference is moving Chris Jones back to DT and adding Melvin Ingram, which improved their pass rush.

They way I see it is that BOTH teams are peaking at the right time. Both teams are pretty healthy. Their defense has gotten much better, but so has our offensive line and running game.

Ā

The win in week 5 at Arrowhead should give the Bills confidence. Had we lost that game after being throttled twice by them last year the pressure would be boiling. That win proves they can compete and win.

Ā

I fully expect the winner of this game to make it to the Super Bowl. No disrespect to the Titans or Bengals...both are solid teams.Ā

Ā

In my opinion it's going to come down to which defense can step up with a key stop or turnover at the right time. Weather shouldn't be too huge a factor. It just may come down to who has the ball last and a last second win.Ā

Ā

Bet the over. First to 50 wins this one.Ā

Bills averaged 9 yds per possession against Pats, a top 5 defense.Ā  Granted, Pats played flat to some degree but I feel good about our ability to move the ball.Ā  I'd like to see a spy on Mahommes because that dude can gain many yards like Josh can.

Both teams can win, let's be real. But Bills are slightly favorite IMO. Better defense, and now with a running game, and a stellar secondary that will still get spanked at times by that powerful KC offense but will bend but no break. GO BILLS. REVENGE

KC has been the best defense in the NFL since signing Ingram and moving Clark back inside.Ā  The offense is clicking again at full speed.Ā  I view the Bills as an underdog.Ā  Doesn't mean we can't win, but it's going to take a hell of game and an effort like we saw on Saturday or we are heading to the golf course next Monday.

In watching the Chiefs have been very blitz heavy the 2nd half. Basically trying to force turnovers and big plays. You have to be able to hit the deep ball this week to win. The Bengals did it over and over. The Steelers tried to do it but have a QB with no armĀ

Some would say the Chiefs are playing much better football than earlier in the season. Also, this is their ā€œrevengeā€ game for when we beat them.Ā

This is OUR revenge game from last year's conference championship game!!šŸ’Ŗ
