Brand J Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 I’ve noticed the Chiefs social media team isn’t putting out any instagram posts or tweets they’ll later regret this time. All is mum over there… 🤐 1 2 Quote

His speed is so deceptive. Josh Allen is effing fast. When running the ball, it's not like he looks slow by any stretch of the imagination, but before you know it, he's already run for 20+ yards. It's crazy to see him take off and simply leave D lineman and even some linebackers in the dust. I can't for the life of me(aside from the slip and fall at the Tennessee game) remember the last time he DIDN'T get a 1st down, by a country mile. 2. As great of a runner he has become, he's still only finding ways to get even better. I used to hold my breath every time he ran. Now he's becoming an even smarter runner. He still isn't afraid to bowl over a defender, hurdle one, or stiff arm the living crap out of one, but he's also smart enough now to know when to slide. My biggest fear with regard to him running was that defensive players were taking exception to him running the way he has been, and that someone was looking to make an example of him if given the opportunity. But because of Allen's maturity, he limits those opportunities much more so now than before. 3. The simple fact is, Allen is just a big, fast, physical specimen of a QB, and to be honest, there really isn't much defenses really CAN do when he takes off with it, except to hope to tackle him. I'm with you 100% in that next year I do believe he will be the 1st QB in NFL history with 4,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing. I agree with all this except the prediction. I think they will try to save Josh’s running for red zone opportunities, big games during the season, down the stretch and the playoffs. I think they have to save his body for those occasions. But without doubt, this offense is better when he runs. 2 1 Quote

The OC should have a shock collar or something on him to tell him to slide during the regular season against teams like the Jets when he does scramble. They made a long term investment in him and you have to protect your asset. That means limiting hits so he doesn't turn into Cam Newton in five years. They need to keep investing in the o-line to help keep him clean in the pocket to both get the ball out so you don't have to scramble or get hit in the backfield. 2 1 Quote

Ketchup goes on burgers and mayo adds nothing to it but unnecessary fat that can dilute the taste of the burger. I've dipped my fries in a lot of condiments (ketchup, bleu cheese, vinegar, bbq sauce, hot sauce, ranch, etc.) but dipping them in mayo is gross. 5 1 2 Quote

I really did feel like we tried that…down the stretch against the jets and falcons at least. Seemed like someone was forcing him to stay in the pocket against the jets when there were def rushing lanes and then Kate in the game josh said f*ck it and ripped off a big run to seal it lol Edited January 21, 2022 by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote

The funny thing is though, as valuable as Josh is to us as a quarterback, his running ability makes him every cent as valuable, because of the fact that you simply cannot gameplan for his ability to generate huge chunks of yardage with his legs...I mean it is insane how effortless it seems for him to get a 1st down for us when the defense calls the seemingly perfect play to stop us on 3rd down and Josh cooly takes off 3 strides later he's 20 yards down the field. I swear I do not envy defense coordinators the week they see Buffalo on their schedule. And like I was saying earlier, the most beautiful thing to me in all this is he's only becoming an even better, smarter runner with the football...it's a thing to behold to see how every year Josh takes these awesome strides in his passing game to become a more complete quarterback, yet I totally have been overlooking the fact that he is also evolving and improving his run game. Scary stuff if you think about it. 1 3 1 Quote

In the last AFCCG, they just seemed shell shocked. Even in week 5, you could tell the offense was frazzled— they hit on some big plays, but just didn’t seem to be in sync. i am hoping that they will have that calm and surgical way about them this week. They looked like the 1988 Bills....close...but not quite ready for the big stage. They have the experience of having been there now....they know what they need to do. 1 2 Quote

Truth be told, I enjoy ketchup, mayo and mustard on my burger. 2 of the 3 will suffice. Def not as good with only one condiment in most cases. Regular mayo with FF is not my jam. Spicy kicked up mayo in a doctored up FF sauce, sure. That’s some tasty stuff. Love me some Raising Canes FF sauce. But ketchup is amazing too. 1 2 Quote

I don't have the exact quote, but I think it's in the back of his mind... and that might be because the coaches have put it in his mind... I dunno. That said, I do think after that a switch went off in his brain that he was being too careful about not running. That's probably part of why he was the 7th leading rusher in the league in the last month or so of the season. Its more like lets work on the passing game and preserve your body to survive the season....the WR's did it too. 17 games is a long haul and last year showed this team your foot cannot be to the floorboard for all of it. They just didn't know any other way last year....older /wiser and better prepared 14 hours ago, CEN-CAL17 said: As days go on, more analysts are picking the Bills to upset the Chiefs.
