ProcessTruster Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Since Josh lighting it up on the biggest Playoff stages, of course I'll bet these games are ignored in MVP voting?? Anyone know? Quote

ProcessTruster Posted January 16, 2022 Author Posted January 16, 2022 thanks. that's what I thought... good , so he's right there with pro bowl - snubbed defense. perfect Quote

ALLEN1QB Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Never understood the fascination with the MVP thing. Personally I could care less. 1 1 Quote

Royale with Cheese Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 It doesn't technically but the writers are human as well and if Allen continues to surge, they can't unthink these playoff games. 1 Quote

LeGOATski Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 When does that get announced? I thought it was right at the end of the season. Quote
Nextmanup Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Yeah, I just don't get into MVP, Pro Bowl, All Pro individual honors and what not. It's a team game and the goal is to win a Super Bowl. I would measure success with playoff wins and SB appearances/wins. We know Josh Allen's value! Who cares if a bunch of sports politicians elect him as "MVP" or not? Quote

Outside of Super Bowl MVP/Champion it's the most prestigious individual award in football. Unfortunately the purpose of the award has been skewed over the years with it being awarded to the statistically best player instead of the player that means the most to his team's success. It's a pretty big deal though followed by 1st team All Pro selectons. Pro Bowl selections have become an absolute joke of an award. Of course JMO..... Quote

If they haven't already voted I could absolutely see them doing it as a way to flip Rodgers the bird after how he's been with the media. Quote

Yeah, they should've already voted. Will probably be Brady. Gets announced the day before the Super Bowl. Quote

Giuseppe Tognarelli Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 All award voting was conducted last week upon conclusion of the regular season. Playoffs are completely irrelevant to individual awards. 1 Quote
RobbRiddick Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 MVP? Pfft, he'll have to get to the probowl first Quote

Anyone know? It's a conspiracy since the NFL knew Josh would play well in his first playoff game this year. Quote
