Saxum Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 The Pats* fans are going to go thru serious depression and as fellow NFL fans need to help them. I saw a commercial repeatedly during playoffs that you need to reach out and help on mental health. We can point out that they ran into a juggernaut and if not for some unfortunate breaks, such as Miami's head coach being their head coach's disciple allowing them to beat them twice during regular season, they could have been in our position hosting a home playoff game. We can use as reference the BBMB members who were savagely evicted from their asylum and were adopted. Reach out and give a hug but be gentle, they could break easily. CSBill Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Naaa! My daughter-in-law is a Patriots fan, I've already given her plenty of love and money. I'll gloat today and be back to being a good dad tomorrow. 1 Quote
VaMilBill Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Hell no. If any fan base deserves to be depressed it’s the Pats. I hope they suck for the next hundred years. That’s the price you pay for embarrassing other teams constantly and winning six Super Bowls. 1 1 Quote
HOUSE Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Keep your kids away from the Patriots board this morning, this is where youngsters pick up naughty language 1 Quote
atlbillsfan1975 Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 (edited) It is to soon to help them, they are still in the pre-contemplation stage of change. They really aren’t even aware their team isn’t very good anymore and thus aren’t ready to discuss possible approaches for change. Edited January 16, 2022 by atlbillsfan1975 Quote

That and discussion I had with one fan who owes me a bottle of scotch vs a bottle of Tito's vodka I would have to pay if he won. He said that no team beats Belicheck's defense twice in a year (ignoring fact that the Phish did it) and meeting Pats* in playoffs would be the Bills' doom. 1 Quote

Yeah, "ad nauseum" is the correct term when speaking of most Pats* fans. 😄 Quote
