Not at the table Karlos Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 In current stadium? I'd assume it would make good money but I wouldn't go all out until the new one is built 1 Quote

gjv001 Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 Wonder when the first football betting scandal occurs, and who will be the first scoundrel; a player, coach, referee. Any guesses? 2 1 Quote
NewEra Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 My buddy said they were matching up to 3k. This true? If so, hammer the bills ML 1 Quote

On a more serious note, it’s hard to believe the NFL has so comfortably cozied up with betting. As others have indicated it is probably only a matter of time before some noteworthy scandal arises. 1 2 Quote

The new Stadium will be called Apollo Field, Caesars Stadium, or Yahoo Stadium. Caesars Palace and related properties, along with Yahoo are all owned by The Apollo Group. They're making inroads with the Pegula's. Quote

Any guesses? I saw some story the other day about an NBA player with a known injury who started a game and immediately came out. People apparently hammered the under prop bets on his performance and made a ton of money. It seems those live prop bet systems would be way too easy to game by insiders. I’m sure we’ll be seeing more stories like that. Quote
Doc Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 (edited) No surprise. They're all doing it. When we toured Allegiant Stadium this past summer, they had a huge area sponsored by a California Casino, which was their 2nd casino sponsorship (after...Ceasar's). Edited January 15, 2022 by Doc Quote

The NFL is cozy af with cash- and this is a new stream. Scandal shmandal. It's not about integrity of the game for them, just cold hard cash. Quote

filthymcnasty08 Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 Jumping in the sack with gambling must have been the NFL's pivot for "growth" as international expansion doesn't look like it would fully take. I liked it better when gambling and the NFL made it look like they operated independent of one another. 1 3 Quote
