The fans want a dome if they don't have to pay for it. I'm sure the Pegulas would say the same.

And by the way, I want a date with Halle Berry and Emma Watson.

You'll never know if you have a chance with them if you don't ask.  I suggest you send them a Tweet 100 times a day each...that'll grab their attention.  Girls like that...persistence.

Because attendance is very important in a small market city. The League looks very closely at season attendance numbers

Just saying

No doubt….so if that’s the issue….fix it! Build a new stadium where attendance will NOT go down in the winter weeks. I’ll let you decide what kind of stadium would fix the ‘problem’.

Also, it seems like a good time to remind people that the new stadium will have less capacity. This will be a sell-out in the new stadium with it's 62,000 seats or whatever.

Does that help?

Also, did I mention that domers are all idiots? 😁

The biggest argument I have for a dome is that it becomes a place that can be used year round. Think RV shows, concerts, expos, other sports, etc. Heck, maybe even someday hosting the Combine. I'm not going to lie - I would be there if it wasn't going to be as cold as it is. If it were a dome, I would be bringing my whole family, but I have two young boys and there is no way I'd do that to them with the current situation.

And you'd probably have to take out a mortgage to do so.

The dome talk is nonsense. Imagine them sticking a dome over Lambeau? It’s embarrassing. These south and dome teams come up to Buffalo and don’t know what hit them. It’s removing an unmatched advantage.

It's only an advantage if you have the worse team, because the weather is a great equalizer.

Right now, the Bills are really good and the weather brings them down closer to their competition. In the future, though, maybe the Bills won't be as good and it will help them pull off some upsets.

So when the Bills are good, they're gonna win more of the time anyway. And when they're bad, they'll have a better chance to win.

Sounds very pro-open air.

Its pretty packed lol

Also it’s the biggest(or one of) in the league. Amazing that a town like Buffalo can fill or almost fill 80,000 seats.

Don't forget the season ticket holders who sell their seats.

There are many season ticket owners who are 55+ who just don't want to deal with the crappy weather.

There are also a ton of people that use season tickets as an “investment” and those folks want a dome to enhance the value of their investment.

Bills fans from WNY expect to pay Ticket prices from the Glory Years- the 90s! They have expressed that view, as well as the ‘embarrassment factor’ of a non filled Stadium, on these boards- for decades!

You want a nice, shiny new play thing, with all the bells and whistles?

YOU PAY!

Like $200 minimum for a Regular Season game, plus, plus!

You can’t have both!

Big City Pro Sports stadiums mean Big City prices!

I also think the stadium designers will be creating climate-controlled spaces to allow people to warm up and watch the game in relative comfort during winter.

Its only an advantage if the team practices outside.  Not sure that is happening very much.

Wow. Some people can’t admit they’re wrong even when faced with indisputable evidence.

That is no where near packed.

The game was going to be blacked out (yes, a playoff game, blacked out).

The NFL had to give the Bills 2 extensions past the usual cutoff in order to find six different companies in the area that would purchase several thousand seats in order to lift the blackout.

In the end, 18,101 seats were empty. Thats nearly 25% of the stadium - empty.

It was not almost filled. There were over 18,000 empty seats and that was even AFTER companies bought several thousand seafs.

Wait a second... is this a dome thread?

I realize that many people mock dome threads - myself included - but I generally like the discussion that ensues.

I hope the mods don’t start locking them all. They’re a good time.

I got an e-mail from a local bus company that they had 7 seats in the 300s left at half price: $99.50.  If the weather was warmer & there wasn't 10+ hour round trip in a packed bus with Omicron running rampant, I might have considered it.  Instead, I'm staying home in my warm living room with no possible exposure to Omicron.  .

No. Absolutely not lol. Tickets are moving. There were over 5,000 on Stubhub two days ago. This morning there are 2,800. It will be pretty much full.

StubHub is only a tiny fraction of the market.

Look on the #1 ticket site - TicketMaster…

I'm not against open-air. I don't have a strong opinion either way, honestly.

I live on the other side of the country so I don't get to go to games anyway, except very rarely.

I do think if we never see the Bills playing in the snow again it would be a sad thing.
