ganesh Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 I am curious why the Bills players did not do the traditional dumping of the Gatorade Ice on the coach after the Bills clinched the AFC East in front of their home fans, That would have been a great appreciation of what Coach meant to the players and the fans. Was it because it was too cold and windy? or has this sort of thing now in the past? Curious what others thought! 1 Quote
Patrick Duffy Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 They are past that. Did it last season and vowed not to do it again until winning AFCCG to go to SB and would repeat if winning the SB 10 4 2 1 Quote
Wyobills89 Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 (edited) Because it's not the end goal! 4 more wins and McD be covered. Probley ketchup ans mustard as well. Lol jk the cold could very well be the reason. Did they do it when we clinched last year? I don't remember but I do believe it has to do with been there already, and they won't intell they reach their next goal. So maybe after and afc chip? LABILLBACKER Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 Hate it when baseball teams pop champagne after every series win. Gatorade and champagne should be reserved for Championships. 1 Quote

MiltonWaddams Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 He complained that the last time they did it, the sugar made his hands stick together and it made clapping more difficult. We all know how rough that would make things for him. 1 Quote
Doc Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 If they were going to do it, it would have been after the Cheaters game. That's when they wrapped-up the AFCE. Quote
716er Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 McDermott needs to get a shower in Frank's when the Bills win the Super Bowl. 1 Quote

Every time I scored a touchdown I snuck up behind coach and hit him with the Gatorade bath I felt like if he could run up behind me in practice and try to punch me to knock the ball out to keep me honest I could give it back to him Quote
