corta765 Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 How about Cole Beasley? At the time NE was also interested and still had Brady too. He really helped Josh year as being an incredibly reliable target that made a ton of big catches and virtually never dropped anything. Following year (2020) they were an unstoppable connection that was praised as much. Additionally if he goes to NE maybe he is the piece that keeps Brady there as he has a solid target again. 1 Quote

No, I’m not kidding, rolling with Peterman and Allen is/was one of the worst cases of roster management one could make. Tyrod wasn’t the answer, but he was/is a fringe starter and they went into the season with zero starting reps at the most crucial position in the game. Even McCarron had next to nothing, that was stupid. Quote

If Josh had turned out like Mayfield or Darnold, I could see the criticism. Quote

Well, one huge miss was when we drafted Roscoe Parrish in round 2. He was our first pick that year and he looked as if he weighed 160 pounds. We traded away our first round pick in the previous year in order to draft Losman. I remember reading that one day Parrish left his house, saw snow, and went running back inside, horrified. I don't remember which rocket scientist was our GM at the time. Young Bills Fans just don't know how much we suffered lol. 1 1 Quote
The Avenger Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 (edited) I think drafting Gabe Davis in the 4th round is going to prove to be a great move. I like what we've seen in limited snaps and if he gets a full time role he is going to put up big numbers. Edited January 14, 2022 by The Avenger Quote
Clyde Smith Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 Drafting Dawkins and solidifying the Left side for years to come. Quote
JohnBonhamRocks Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 I think Spencer Brown in the 3rd has the potential to be a franchise LT, or at least a/the top RT, w/ his athleticism. Might have gotten a guy who when looking back people would have taken top 3-5. Quote

May be a moot point if Dawkins continues his general level of play he has shown during his NFL career. Quote

Yes, that included Sammy Watkins and Marcell Dareus. And boy did folks here HATE IT at the time! LOL 1 Quote
