Royale with Cheese Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 Why didn’t they have him retire like Gettleman? Quote

Greg talking crap about winning a championship his first year when Bills went 3 - 13. Players know when you’re full of s**t. 1 Quote

Judge was a Special Teams Coordinator in New England. This was a worse hire than Cleveland promoting Fred Kitchens. 1 1 Quote

Bookie Man Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 My brother is a big giants fan. I remember talking about how it seemed like a good hire. Head coach hiring is such a crapshoot. Quote

Head coach hiring is such a crapshoot. Only if you do it wrong ! A lot of times HC fail because what they do on the field does not actually match their philosophy (Due to so many circumstances). That compromise means their strengths are negated...A Dick Jauron would have been a great coach if he had a strong OC and a starting QB....He had neither and it reflected in his failures. \ I believe one of thr reasons McDermott has been successful is because he is doing what he preaches. He bailed out on the first QB quickly knowing very well that he does not fit his mindset. Edited January 12, 2022 by ganesh Quote
Greg S Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 The Giants are interviewing Bills assistant GM Joe Schoen today. They have 9 candidates lined up to interview per the Daily News. But if Schoen gets the job then I could see Daboll or Frazier having a good chance to join him in NJ. Quote

billsfan89 Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 The Giants needed to move on from Judge. In two years he showed very little progress. On top of that the Giants have the 5th and 7th picks in the draft. That type of draft capital is pretty rare and can set up a franchise for the next 5-8 years. You can't hand that over to a coach that could easily be out the year after. Start fresh and reset the clock with a new hire. Quote

FLFan Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 I think they should bring in a Bill O’Brien/Doug Marrone combo as GM and Coach. The funny thing is they might actually improve over what they have had. Quote

filthymcnasty08 Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 The Bills may have a hand in this happening: Smash the @#$% out of the Cheats on Saturday (NE fans blame coaching, because it's NE fans). The hoodie pulls the ripcord and heads to NY It's the only HC job he would leave NE for (in his own words) So....get him out of the division with a one sided beating on Saturday!!!! 1 Quote
