Honestly if I was Miami I would hire Frazier and bring Ken Dorsey in as OC to work with Tua.

The Dolphins fired their HC because he is difficult to deal with. Frazier would be the ideal guy to replace him with.

It also takes talent from your rival. Dolphins are a good football team with a few tweaks and a good leader.

I wish this whole process didn't get started through the playoffs, don't like the idea of having the distraction of interview prep in the back of their minds.

I do too but the Super Bowl is Feb 13th and the Scouting Combine starts Mar 1st so I can see the other side's point.

McDermott went out of his way to be clear during his post-game presser that this is Frazier's defense.  It's not McDermott's defense.

I believe this about 75%

I totally forgot that Frazier was part of that legendary 85 Bears defense, plus he did have his previous HC with the Vikings so lots of familarity with the division.

Almost seems like the perfect match for both sides.

imo this is as close to done as it can be at this point.

its his return home, so power to him.

i hope mcd takes more control of the d, i think he's just better than frazier.

Maybe a few years ago I would agree when people had to fly around for these interviews. These days they can do an interview on ZOOM and the coach misses minimal time.

I’d 100% trade Frazier for two third round picks.

In this day and age of everyone is a draft geek, fans don't properly value what they have on their team when they hear draft pick compensation.

He and Zimmer have similar defenses and philosophies. If he does get a job, I'd like to take a long look at Zimmer.

With the Broncos canning Vick would he be a good fit if Frazier decides to go else where ??

Please, please, please. His defenses are soft.

The Bills' defense ranked #1 this season.

That's OK.

There's a big difference between getting an interview and a job offer.

There's been solid rumors for a while that Dungy will be GM and Frazier will be HC. There may be truth to those rumors after all.

Minimal travel time, yes. But candidates prepare for interviews - I'm guessing that involves watching film of the prospective team, which, since the Bills didn't play the Bears this season, Frazier hasn't done.

I understand the desire to have a HC in place before scouting "officially" begins, but from our perspective, I want Frazier watching film of the playoff teams we're up against and developing his plan for the upcoming week.

Perhaps he's seen Bears film this years when scouting out oir opponents. At least enough to have a working knowledge. And we did play them in preseason.

I doubt they are grilled too much on what the hiring teams season was...more imtrested in what they would do going forward

Yup the #1 Defense architect for two third round picks sure does sound fair. Why not bring back Rex while we're at it.
