Nextmanup Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 That's OK. There's a big difference between getting an interview and a job offer. 2 Quote
Demongyz Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 was bound to happen. What is the regulation with this again? can only interview during an off week, such as the bye week before the Super Bowl? I'd hate for him to be worried about this trash now. Quote
Process Posted January 10, 2022 Author Posted January 10, 2022 Based on the responses, bears fans would not be pleased lol Quote
Blank Stare Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 They’d be lucky to have him. From a leadership standpoint that organization is a disaster. 5 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 He is a great leader. If he can land a quality OC to work with Fields he could do pretty well. 1 3 Quote
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 McDermott went out of his way to be clear during his post-game presser that this is Frazier's defense. It's not McDermott's defense. 5 2 Quote
Nextmanup Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 For younger fans, remember that Frazier was a Bear player from 1981-1985....he was a cornerback on that great 1985 team and he blew out his knee in that Super Bowl returning a punt. Never played again after that. So he has a history in Chicago. 9 Quote
Logic Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 I don’t want to lose him, BUT… Two 3rd round comp picks will soften the blow. 4 4 Quote

He definitely deserves to be in the mix for a head coaching job. Just wondering if teams look at his tenure with the Vikings and age, and don't think he is the answer. Quote

warrior9 Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 He and Zimmer have similar defenses and philosophies. If he does get a job, I'd like to take a long look at Zimmer. 6 Quote
aristocrat Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Could be an attractive job. Be curious to see if maybe he goes with Brian Gaine as a sort of package like McBeane? Needs a good oc and lot of help on offense for fields. Quote

Because of the Rooney Rule, certain guys have to get paraded in for interviews for the optics. Too bad, I always thought that the Rooney Rule hurts the people it was meant to help. 1 1 2 Quote
