Please, continue to prove my point Bease was the 2nd most targeted player on the team.

And my point was "not exactly."  The pace dropped and the consistency dropped after week 10.

19 targets in 2 of his last 7 games.

22 targets in the other 5.

Over half his targets have come in 5 games.

Knox has seen more involvement.  3 fewer  targets then Beasely the last 7 games.

20% of Allen's targets have been to Davis and Sanders combined.

Beasely has played on 61% of the snaps and has 17% of the targets.

Allen has a little over 50% completion percentage to Davis.

It's over 75% to Beasely.

My other point is, which those Stats show, I think he isn't involved enough.

Oh so now Beasley is the new Edmunds. Got it. Clowns.

Bease is going to be a key to our success in the playoffs. Yeah, he’s lost a step against man coverage but he definitely can still make clutch catches in clutch situations and you can bet teams will be scheming to take Diggs away.

In fact I think it starts this weekend because no way The Hoodie is going to let McKitrick run roughshod over him again. I’d have a package with Diggs, Bease, McKenzie and Sanders on the field at the same time. I expect to see more zone than Pats* usually run because we marched up and down against their man defense and Hoodie don’t play that.

Sanders, assuming he’s healthy, is going to be a playoff beast. This is is what we got him for, playoff football.

All we need is for Josh to be above-average to great Josh making good decisions and catchable throws.

Personally.....I think the combonation of injury and decline of play in Bease is noticable.....and I think McKenzie has overtaken him.

I think the conditions have been exceptionally challenging in several home games. JA has had his and the receivers numbers impacted significantly by that. With limited wind on Saturday we should see that all improve. The Bills have very good receivers now and will next year. If Beasley is part of the team it will be fine. If not it will be fine with just the depth we have.

I’d agree with you that Bease has had a noticeable decline in perceived on-field production. I don’t care what the stats say, he’s lost a step and isn’t getting all the YAC he used to. That being said, I think he’s going to be key in getting third down conversions in that 3rd and 2-8 range especially against zone D. I’d love to believe McKenzie is ready to take the reigns but I can’t get there yet after 1 great performance against NE. Hopefully I’m wrong and they are going to unleash McKenzie in the playoffs and I’ll be pleasantly blown away. I really don’t care how we do it, just want the Ws and still think Bease can and will be a big part of that.

I, for one, think Beasley can go fu*k himself.  The sooner he's gone, the better.

why ?  seems a little extreme

I didn't think I saw it.   I did see it.   I was just curious if it had been discussed.

Beasley came off the field furious,  yelled and and pointed at McDermott and and was grabbed by the shoulder and I assumed that was it.    At that point I looked up for the punt.   But then on the video feed I now see just prior to the punt (20 seconds after the incomplete pass in his direction) he must have looped back around to get another word in at which point McDermott actually said something back........then Micah Hyde escorted him back to the bench.

Is this what you refer to? If so, I'm not surprising no media makes a big deal out of it.

I support Cole Beasley...that is all.

(well, not quite...just wanted to point out how painfully obvious it is that many posters feelings on Cole is 100% due to his vaccination status. Please stop trying to hide behind his age and production excuses. If he had been vaxed, there is no way that this level of hatred would be directed at him. He is still a very important part of this team and we will need him in the playoffs. Let's put everything else aside for a SB run. Go Bills!)

If it was simply because he chose not to get vaccinated, then where is the same level of disgust with Gabe Davis?

Davis got that toe drag swag which is a vaccination in itself.

Can anyone say when this happened so I can look for it when I re-watch the game?  Even which quarter.

It appears to have taken place after the kickoff and before the 2 minute warning.

Hope that saves you some time.

This just adds fuel to the fire: I don't expect Beasley to back with the team next year.

It's like things have broken down between him and management at this point, perhaps irreparably.

Similar to Dallas if memory serves me correctly. Beasley has lost a step, and needs to realize this. He is a gamer for sure, but understand this is a deep WR core and just do your job.

Wasn't it the 3rd and 15 after the idiotic handoff to Moss on 2nd and 15 (where a trip should've been called on the Jets)?  I remember being angry at McDermott and Daboll too, because the throw had no chance at getting a first down.

Yes,  this was the drive.    Allen threw it on the run toward Beasley.

Beasley's anger may be against the referee, who is in line with McDermott,  i think the OP is looking too much in something, or someone.

We've got VIDEO EVIDENCE!!

Someone call that dude's brother in law and tell him to stop drinking before the game!

This kind of thing probably happens on the football field more than we realize. I'm not really worried about it. The ball was thrown behind him, so it wasn't catchable. Maybe there was some comment about that.

McD couldn’t look any more unaffected if he tried. Looks like much ado about nothing.
