They got into Patriots territory on their last 3 possessions of the game 2 of those possessions going into the wind where Josh threw it more than half the times he did all game. Didn’t say he was an idiot, but at half time he’s talking about how they needed to run the ball and can’t rely on Josh to win this game, while his QB clearly demonstrated the ability to be able to throw into the wind and I thought(as did many others) they waited way too long to drop the conservative approach and let Allen do his thing…. Here’s hoping they let Allen sling it Saturday night and McD stays aggressive as he did in the 2nd match up. 👌🏻 And since the first patriot game, we’re 2nd in the league in rushing and have gone 4-1. We handed off one time to a RB in the first half vs the Bucs——and got destroyed. We didn’t make a comeback until we started running the ball with josh and the RBs. We trusted our passing game in the first half vs the falcons, and then completely abandoned it in the 2nd half as we rolled over them with the run. we’re at our best when we’re able to have success passing all over the field but we aren’t passing with the same efficiency as last season. Adding balance to the offense is necessary if we want to win the SB 3 3 2 Quote

I had that thought, but then, a lot of the issues seem to be miscommunication on option routes so the WR isn't where Josh expects (or the ball isn't where the WR expects), balls being tipped, catchable balls not being caught, and Josh being chased around the backfield like a chicken when there's a Jailbreak on OL. It's hard to lay all that at the feet of the "Passing Game Coordinator" 22 minutes ago, Sammy Watkins' Rib said: Who was the passing game coordinator last year? Daboll? Or did we not have one? DapperCam Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 I think we'll see a lot of Allen running the ball. They limited his carries during the season imo, but it's do or die now. 2 Quote

I wouldn’t call his usage limited, in regards to previous seasons Quote

Maybe I'm just seeing something that isn't there. Quote

JerseyBills Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 If our OL & DL continue to play great, we're SB bound! We have the better QB,WRs and D. I see a similar outcome as week 16. But that final scoring drive had Josh make a phenomenal 4th and 1 and 2 flicks to Diggs and Knox for the TD. Won't be easy but I just don't think the Cheats are talented enough top to bottom to get the W. Quote

Kenosha2Buffalo Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 What a crazy game coming up. Being 31 and not remembering the glory years, this feels like the most important game of my time. Last year's playoff games obviously had the same impact, but this being the Patriots and our expectations going in, makes it oh so much sweeter. I'm a tad nervous as ***** lol. 6 Quote

There is alot of talent defensively for the Patriots... especially those safeties, that CB and Matt Judon... JC Jackson by the way dropped two INTs that Allen threw to him.. Allen has to take care of the ball this time... and then there is the XFactor Bill Belichick with more post season wins then hair strands on my body. Quote

I just personally think the Belicheck factor is overrated , I just feel our D and Defensive coaching staff has a slight edge or is equal. But our O is far superior. Allen is a Vet now, our OL n Run gm have come along big time. This O is scary, meanwhile NE is 1 dimensional. If you're afraid of Mac Jones and these weapons , we've shut down way better. The key is just not allowing a big run on D and limit turnovers. I wonder who our KR/PR is tmrw? Do we go conservative with Hyde, given how great BB is with ST? Do we go for explosion with McKittrick or the rookie? It's a game of inches and I think this 53 is prepared, confident and hungry to win it ALL! 6 minutes ago, 2020 Our Year For Sure said: What an odd thing to say. It seems pointed. A bit odd for sure. My mind immediately thinks Beasley. Maybe Sanders. Maybe both. But yea, it's not a good sign that McD is even talking like that We don't have any room for error in the pass gm. 2 Quote

It's part of the game. If they could catch they wouldn't be playing defense 1 1 Quote

We all kept wondering when the turning point would be, saying things like "that loss was a wake up call." Turned out that the wake up call was just that half of a game and they found clarity in the locker room within 15 minutes. Pedal to the metal. 1 3 Quote

Adding balance to the offense is necessary if we want to win the SB THIS. The idea that Buffalo hasn’t tried to pass enough this season is a little cuckoo. Actually, we have been unbalanced (usually passing too much) and predictable (running and passing) too often. Complaining about a run heavy game plan in 60mph winds is overrating your own superior IQ. Bills just need to execute like they have the last 4 1/2 games. Halftime of the Bucs game the players decided to come together and execute as a team with the team spirit of 2020, after all the distractions and divisive stuff early this year. Now it’s on. 1 Quote
