SageAgainstTheMachine Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 He looked pretty hobbled after his reception in the 4th quarter. Ankle injuries are one of those things you play through in the moment with adrenaline but later find out you can barely get your shoe off. 5 2 Quote
wjag Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Dang. And I actually thought they came out of the game healthy. Quote

atlbillsfan1975 Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Yea, he is a tough dude, but you could tell something wasn’t right after that play. He even had a catch while playing hurt on it. Quote
LEBills Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 He played after and looked ok, he did some deep routes after and didn’t look slowed down at all from what I saw on the telecast Quote

Rubes Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 I saw in the replay that someone landed on top of his ankle. Didn't look great, and he seemed hobbled, but he did come back into the game and seemed to be running okay. But could swell up and cause issues. I'm sure they'll be working on it to keep the swelling down. Just pray that he didn't snap a fibula or something. (I don't think he did, but...) 1 Quote
CEN-CAL17 Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Is it 100% confirmed it’s his ankle???? Cause if you watch the replay it also looks like he bangs knees(Davis left knee)…. With a defender late Doesn’t show the slow motion replay in that feed Quote

Hope to hear from McDermott tomorrow. 1 Quote
Da webster guy Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Gabe had a rare off-game today. Hopefully he and Josh settle in for a good week of practice and Gabe does what he did last year in our 1st playoff game vs Colts. In other news, strange that Josh's goal line slip in the rain vs Titans ended up costing us a 1st round bye and homefield advantage throughout. Game of inches for sure.... 1 Quote

I felt at the time that the bad ending for the Bills could have a big impact down the road. Quote

John from Riverside Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 The good news is the bills have been very careful with sander's injuryeah with sander's injury and we go into the playoffs with hopefully a healthy Sanders a veteran wide receiver Quote

Please, let's not invite Bills fans into a discussion about Event Tree Analysis or other such highly variable and interconnected sequences of events, like an NFL season. (Obviously, it's the same darned thing.) 1 Quote

Gabe had 3 receptions on 14 targets. He usually brings in those tough sideline catches. He didn't today. He and Josh were not on the same page for multiple routes as well. I know wind was a factor too. Hope they get it worked out for the next game. Gabe's clutch catches will be important in the playoffs. Quote
