SDS Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 This stupid "test" page issue is still bothering people. Geez, did our host f' us up with that. Who here gets that page and can you tell me exactly how you get it (url used, ISP, etc...)? Did clearing your cache help?

Posted a test, refreshed it, edited it, refreshed - all ok. E-link dial up w/ win98. Didn't clear cache beforehand.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 I got it. I had to put "www." between "http://" and "twobillsdrive." Previously I had it with the "www" and had to remove it to get it to work. Strange.
Hambone Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 I use AOL and I get this periodically. When I get it, I can't access this site for a few days then all of a sudden it will work. I just assumed the site was down. I have it saved in my favorites. I do nothing different during this time, but will try clearing the cache next time.

Tux of Borg Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 When i'm at home and on my parents' AOL, i can't get to TBD unless I use the 'A' record "www". At school i get the test page every so often. Usually just hitting refresh fixes the issue.

I tried refreshing, then typing in the URL, to no avail. Scott advised to clear my cache, which I did, but that didn't work either. Finally went to live AOL technical help and they had me go to settings, internet options and select clear footprint. It worked right after that

I thought I was pretty clear above, but my previously bookmarked URL that had a problem just recently was "http://twobillsdrive.com" and after adding in the "www." and making it "http://www.twobillsdrive.com" it worked. Previously I had the "www..." URL bookmarked and got the "test" page, and had to remove it to get it to work.
