What if they get the Chargers again? They could easily be outscored in that type of game. I like the kc matchup for us and an easier matchup in week 1 much more than the alternative but I’m getting a lot of negative reactions when I post stuff like that 🤣 Quote

Playoffs? Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 I can’t believe that this crazy chargers-raiders tie scenario is a possibility now if the Ravens win! Quote
Lionel Hutz Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 If the NFL was scripting this they couldn’t draw it up any better. Colts lose so the Ravens/Steelers game becomes meaningful and then goes to OT. Quote
RobbRiddick Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 whoa I thought that was getting picked Quote

Given I'd rather play the Raiders in the first round, if the Steelers/Raiders win, we play Raiders. If the Ravens win, Raiders clinch playoffs and likely rest starters, meaning increased likelihood of Chargers win, and thus we play the Chargers next week. My same feel on bolded. Quote
Vertig0 Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Jags game being what it was, I still can't believe we lost to the Steelers. Watching Ben throw is painful. Quote

JoshAllin Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 (edited) No teams should be punting here with ties eliminated nvm converted Edited January 9, 2022 by motorj Quote
Nextmanup Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 It would be weird if we end up with Chargers---didn't see that coming and I don't like the matchup only b/c they have a great QB who can win on his own. Raiders/Patriots are much better opponents IMO. Quote

I guess a Pitts win though makes it super interesting. If the Raiders and Chargers both tie in that game they both get in. Not sure I've ever seen this scenario before. Quote

Amaru523 Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 (edited) It looks like the Patriots game could determine whether or not we play the Pats or Chargers/Raiders. The Pats win, they play Cincy, they lose they play us. Anyone think they'd lose on purpose to play us instead of the Bengals (this is assuming the Bills are crushing the Jets)? I heard a lot of talking heads this week picking the Bengals to go to the SB, and even though we've won 3 of the last 4 against them, old Bill still thinks he owns us. bills6969 Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 So if Ravens Steelers tie both get eliminated. That means Colts are in so long as Chargers and Raiders don’t tie? Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Ugh poor Ray Ray with the big drop Quote
The Firebaugh Kid Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Is it against "policy" for LV and the Chargers to tie on purpose? Quote
