34-78-83 Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 He’s my least favorite player in the game to say the least. Possibly ever. Could not believe those WWF ( but real) antics he displayed that day. I hope he gets to feel the other side of that at some point. Quote
qwksilver Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Unfortunately he's a sure fire hall of famer, so those horrible commercials will never go away and probably will only get worse and with more products. I don't think I've ever wanted someone to get CTE but he's getting close. Quote
VaMilBill Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 I hate Gronk. But I think I hate Jarvis Landry more. That guy ended a players career. Fortunately for Tre, he’s still playing, and playing well at that. 1 Quote

I preferred your earlier description of the irrepressible Robbie from the Block. Quote
Dan Darragh Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 I thought that the suspension should have been not for the next game but for the one after, when the Patriots played the Bills again. They got to play us without Tre but we didn't get to play them without Gronk Quote
Pete Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 I think there is a difference between the ticky tack QB got touched after play and a Gronk or Burflict cheap shot with intention to injure. There is no place for that in nfl. Otherwise whe not have your 53 player take out opposing teams best. You only get penalized 15 yards, same as a BS roughing the passer call Quote
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Based on his commercials he needs to donate his brain for study Neanderthals seem smarter than this guy. Quote
MiltonWaddams Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 I have been told to work on differentiating between empathy, sympathy and compassion when communicating with others. I could provide none of the above to Gronk. I won’t work on it either. 1 Quote
Beast Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Where was Carwell Gardner when you needed him? Quote

Nextmanup Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 I have always found Gronk's utter hatred at this forum really bizarre. He's the best TE who's ever played the game, and he's a native Buffalonian. So sure, let's hate on him! That cheap shot on White was brutal, but no Buffalo Bill bothered to do anything about it at the time. I get Gronk owns the Bills along with the rest of the Patriots, but is that a reason to hate him as an individual? I have been surprised at the charisma and character he has shown in TV commercials. I always thought he was a REALLY stupid jock. 1 1 Quote

No one I detest more. Quote
HappyDays Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 If I remember the play correctly, the broadcast commentator said something to the effect of "that's what happens when you try to hold Gronkowski." That sickened me as much as the hit itself. Quote

No. Try to keep up. The reason is that he slammed a metal brace into the back of Tre White's neck while he was laying on the ground after the play was over, a brutal hit with no justification that could have been career ending. 2 Quote
Gugny Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 I love Gronk and refuse to define his career by one horrible play. Quote
T master Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Yah they definitely got that one wrong but after all it was THE PATRIOTS & they were the NFL cash cow so was it really that surprising ? If anything Belichek should have suspended him for a extra game if he was half the coach everyone thinks he is because that could have very easily ended Whites career so there should have been a lot bigger suspension for that !!
