JGMcD2 Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 This isn’t meant to be anything more than fun… I know most of us are aware how the Bills have fared in 1 score games… but this tweet looks at all 32 teams. I thought it was interesting. 8 2 1 Quote
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Unfortunately, the ability to win those close games is a needed skill. 4 1 Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Titans out of playoffs....this is interesting. But I agree, you have to win close games, you dont get to just flip the results. 1 1 Quote
JMF2006 Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Other than the ifs and buts thing my biggest take away is that you had better bring your A game and not make any mistakes or the Bills will beat you. 1 2 Quote

It has been a strange year for the Bills in close games and out of character with performances of Allen and the team in close games over the last four years. 1 Quote

This is my least fav. reg season yet. The team should be 14-2, 15-1, something like that, but their inability to bring an A game for 60 minutes has led to a wildcard game. They lost the 1 seed, plain and simple. It was there for the taking and they mailed it in numerous times with bad play and bad coaching. Now, put that crap behind them, play 60 minutes, and win the SB. Lets go!!!!! Quote

What's crazy is that Allen has the: 2nd highest 4th quarter completion % 2nd highest 4th quarter QB rating 6th highest QB rating inside the opponent's 10 yard line 4th most 2nd half TD passes 6th most 4th quarter TD passes 10th most passes completed late in close games And is 0-5 in close games 2 1 Quote

I have liked it...lots of twists and turns. Last year just seemed surreal...everything going pretty smooth and easy..not what we usually expect or get. This was more like normal with some huge ups and downs but enough good things to show the Bills belong in the top 5 or 6 teams 25 minutes ago, billsfan1959 said: What's crazy is that Allen has the: 2nd highest 4th quarter completion % 2nd highest 4th quarter QB rating 6th highest QB rating inside the opponent's 10 yard line 4th most 2nd half TD passes 6th most 4th quarter TD passes 10th most passes completed late in close games And is 0-5 in close games But 5-1 last year and some how the football gods even things out 1 Quote

Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 (edited) I thought Ryan Reynolds was a credible Green Lantern. * As long as you're doing multiverses, got one where the officials are competent? 🤨 Edited January 6, 2022 by Ridgewaycynic2013 Quote
Joe Mama Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 (edited) Some one score games are not close calls, e.g. garbage time points bringing result to one score with little time remaining. Pittsburgh game is an example. Bills were out of time outs with under a minute to play and kicked a FG to get to down by 7, desperation on side kick failed. Edited January 6, 2022 by Joe Mama Quote

To have poor situational luck like the Bills this year and to still win your division (not to jinx us or anything) is a sign of a pretty good team. 1 Quote
WotAGuy Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 What’s crazy is if you flipped final scores, the Bills would be 6-10. Amazing! 1 Quote
Billsfan1972 Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Just shows how bad it has been for the Bills. The only game they really came back in and lost too was the TB game. Quote
Nextmanup Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 This is why winning in the NFL is tough: parity. If Josh Allen doesn't slip, makes the first down at the end of the Tennessee game, and we go on to win with a TD (all highly likely in a slightly different universe) we are the NO. 1 seed in the AFC right now. And some people want to rip down our roster and build a "tough" team... 😳 Quote
