st pete gogolak Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 Pretty sure that historically, Washington was the most racist franchise in the NFL, aside from the Redskins nickname (racist owner George Preston Marshall, last team to integrate, etc.). I honesty believe a great nickname (although I admit WFT kind of grows on you) would be the Redtails to honor the WWII Tuskegee Airmen. It would be a way to make amends in a small way. 6 1 2 Quote
BigBuff423 Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 I am not a fan of the Washington Football Team name, glad to see the team getting an actual name. I'll be interested to see what they've come up with, but I think it's time to turn the page. Good luck to them in the future! (Except for when they play the Bills). 4 Quote

zow2 Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 I've heard rumors that the name "Red Wolves" is a strong candidate as well as "Commanders". I'm not crazy about Red Wolves but I've seen some uniform mock ups for Commanders and it actually looks kinda' cool. 1 Quote
