Process Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 There is a higher chance we don't play the Patriots then we do Also the thread title is embarrassing Yes I am worried about a much less talented team with a rookie noodle arm QB coming to Buffalo and beating us in the playoffs Not as worried as I was about the Ravens last year, but still scary! Pokebball Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 (edited) While you shouldn't look past any game, especially a playoff game, of the possibilities this is one that I consider most favorable. Edited January 3, 2022 by Pokebball Quote

Greg S Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 Bottom line is there are a lot of good teams in the AFC that are in. Anyone of them will be a challenge. I think Buffalo can go all the way but it isn't going to be easy. 1 Quote
May Day 10 Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 honestly, 'afraid' of any playoff team. They are all really good and capable of winning any game. I answered 'not afraid' because I think the Patriots are a better match-up than a number of teams in the AFC playoff picture. id want to face them over the Colts, Chiefs, Bengals, and Titans. Quote
zow2 Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 If our D figures how how to play run defense against Damian Harris then I'm not worried. If not, than i am worried. Quote

Haze_21 Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 Harris the type of rb we struggle against but outside of him they are a great matchup for us and probably the team we most want to face. Quote

Not just for that game, but for any game they play, regardless of opponent or location. I think this team will be ready come playoff time. 1 Quote

I think we need to collectively rewire our thinking with the "come to Buffalo" thing. We casually insert that as if it is another advantage for the Bills, while the reality is that the perceived adversity serves as a rallying point for the visitors and playing at home seems to hamstring the Bills. When it comes to a playoff game, that really helps - especially the defense. Facing a rookie QB like Jones, in possibly his 1st playoff game? I'd bet that he'd rather be in New England than Buffalo. That crowd will fire up the D, and likely rattle him. Homefield is still a thing. It's why teams in every sport try so hard to get it. 1 2 Quote

Metal Man Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 I'm worried that the NFL would see that as one of the better match-ups for Wild Card weekend and slot it as the MNF playoff game which is the one spot I really don't want Buffalo to be playing in that weekend. Quote
Fallser Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 Playoff Time, put up or shut up. Fear only gets you a reservation on the golf courses. Quote
Franco_92 Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 I'm not worried about them or anyone else in particular for round 1. That doesn't mean that they or someone else couldn't come in and smack us. That's why they play the games! Quote
FilthyBeast Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 I'm going to be worried no matter who this team faces in the playoffs because of the inconsistency with coaching, Allen, etc. And speaking of Allen, if he plays like he did yesterday there's very little chance we are advancing past the first playoff game regardless of the opponent. But Belichik and the Pats would definitely feast off 3 INT's and are a much better team than the Falcons obviously. 1 Quote
vincec Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 Need the rubber match to decide things. Should be a good one. Quote
MJS Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 Worried? No. But the Bills need to take every single opponent seriously. Can't afford a mental lapse. They need to push through to the Superbowl. Quote
