TC in St. Louis Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 Josh has been carrying this team for weeks. When Josh "went down," hypothetically speaking, the entire team came together and picked it up for him. The OL opened holes for the running attack. The runners ran through the holes. The defense continued to play very well. I do believe that, if they needed Josh to throw the ball in the second half, he would have worked out a way to get that done. Truth is, he didn't have to do that. Quote
Saxum Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 The WRs were also very involved with run blocking. Quote
2003Contenders Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 The defense forcing the 3-and-out after the 3rd interception at the start of the 2nd half was huge! It snapped the team out of the funk they had been in since the middle of the 2nd quarter. The offense moved the ball at will after that -- and the defense gave up 0 points. 2 Quote
