The loss to the Titans... (I think it was around 3 yards they needed for the TD when Josh slipped on the 4th and 1)

If the bills win that game, they are 11-5 and Titans would be 10-6.

Bills would have had the same record as the chiefs at 11-5 but would have the tie breaker on them.

Assuming the Bills beat the Jets next week, they were just a few yards away from being the 1 seed.

Crazy to think as it doesn't feel like it and it just shows how tight the AFC is.

Can't wait for the playoffs though and let's hope the bills can lock up the division next week

I think a lot of us knew that might be the difference the minute that game ended.

Now we just have to overcome it.

Very true.

Frustrating looking back at it as it was such a wasted opportunity

As counter intuitive as it sounds, I'd rather this iteration of the Bills play the Titans on the road than at home in late January.

I dont think seeding means that much. Our best bet is to not play the Colts again.

Fair enough.

For Me I think the bye is huge this year though.

Just cause the AFC is so deep and facing a 5 or 6 seed which will probably be Colts or pats will be a big challenge.

Our defense can scheme against the Pats, but I don't think they've shown the ability to stop a top tier RB like Taylor. I hope I'm wrong. Playoffs are all about match ups. As long as we're there we have a shot.

Or we could have just beat the league laughingstock in Jax that day…

Titans would still be 11-5 and would have the tie break on us

No I agree with you.

I would much prefer playing Pats than Colts.

For me the teams I think would give the bills the most trouble:

1. Chiefs

2. Colts

3. Titans

I actually don’t mind rematches with this coaching staff.  I’d be shocked if Indy did what they did to us that day, again… also factor in the most ill timed fumble ever known to man.

Does that mean I want a rematch… probably not… but I’d still expect us to beat them if we play them again.

I’d expect a much better performance from our Defense and then it comes down to Josh Allen >>> Carson Wentz.

We should only have one loss but nothing we can do now, just have to move forward

At least not in Buffalo. Play them in the dome and I think we fare much better.

I am anti dome, but I do agree with you that I think it would be better to be playing Indi at their place

Agreed, I think we want josh throwing in nice weather in the playoffs. I don't feel good about blizzard games anymore.

I think having a healthy Star, an active Klein, and resurging Oliver and Phillips will help. I agree we are suspect against top tier running backs but I think that loss can be more directly attributed to the 4 turnovers vs 0 takeaways.

Our best bet maybe to have all games in indoor or fast track places according to a bunch of posters.
