Trust him to do...what?

The guy has had 13 career touches and they all came in 1 game over a year ago.

I trust him to not fumble and help lose the game for us.  Breida can’t be trusted to do that

i trust him to not get our QB killed in pass protection. Breida can’t be trusted to do that.

what do you trust Breida to do?  I trust him to run fast and for McD never to trust him again.

this is like deciding between Bates and ford.  I choose Bates because of the unknown and I know that ford can help us lose games with poor play.

I had hoped that AW could've taken Edmund's MLB spot when he switches over to DE.

Based on what you saw in one game a year ago?

Mckenzie fumbled and "helped lose a game"...is he off your trust list as well?

Singletary has fumbled a whopping 5 times already this season...AND has dropped 4 passes (8.5% drop rate)... and you trust him??

Josh has put the ball on the ground 8 times on only 102 carries--that's a #fumblemachine!  Throw in a career high tying 12 ints....you trust him with the ball??

Williams is an NFL zero.  There is no logical conclusion you can come to regarding his likelihood of never having a single fumble or never missing a block if he plays more than a single game or gets more than 13 touches.

Is this Antonio’s mother’s burner account?

it’s almost as if the actual coaches and talent evaluators never make mistakes.  Meanwhile we kept ford, feliciano, Ike and bates over Wyatt Teller.

he flashed some good ability and seems to fit our scheme.  I don’t think he’s an RB1 by any means, but he could be a contributor.  I trust him more than I do Brieda.

That Wyatt Teller wasn't the Wyatt Teller he became. At the time he wasn't as good as those guys they kept.

And even pro evaluators will make mistakes in predicting the future. Everyone does. Plenty of them, really. But how many other Wyatt Tellers have we cut or let go out of the many dozens cut each year?

Could Antonio Williams be one of those moves that look bad at some point in the future? Sure. But with what we've seen so far, he wasn't as good in pass pro as they expect from a Bills RB. I did like the way he ran in the limited times we saw him last year. But that's not everything for a back. Guys do change, but they have a lot more info than we do.

Agreed.   Mistakes are made all the time.   Remember when the Colts thought Kelvin Sheppard for Jerry Hughes straight up was a good deal?

Now we know why he was cut.

New for 2021: Velcro nameplates!

A CB named Velcro would be great.  He would grab a RB and not let go.

Not upset by this.  For some reason our fanbase gets really enamored with project players (Duke Williams, Christian Wade, Antonio Williams).  When these types get released people seem so perplexed...it's almost as though the actual coaches and talent evaluators in the NFL know more than fans.

Well we unloaded Wyatt Teller who is the second highest ranked offensive lineman in the league and would make a massive impact on this team right now.  And Logan Thomas who would be a huge upgrade to Tommy Sweeney.  Heck I think Quinton Spain would be an upgrade at either guard position right now too.

GM's make mistakes all the time.  I'm not saying it's easy, and I see your point about fan favorites getting taken to the extreme, but sometimes the fan opinions are correct and the GM's are wrong.

Like my call about Josh Rosen being a better pick than Josh Allen.  I just KNEW I was right, that Rosen kid just needs a little more time, and Josh Allen well, I TOLD YA  he's the next Ryan Mallet....I mean you can't teach accuracy you fools....
