eball Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 RIP. An unbelievable, once-in-a-lifetime presence. Meant so much to the NFL and the way broadcasting has evolved…not to mention video games! Growing up I was always a little bit envious that Madden was on the NFC network so we never saw him doing Bills games. Quote
T master Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 The man definitely left his mark on the game he will be missed but always remembered ! RIP & thank you for some of the best football commentary ever !! Quote
34-78-83 Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 RIP John. Fantastic coach... I loved him as an announcer back in the day too and had always wished that he was able to cover more AFC games back during the Bills 4 Super Bowl run. Quote
ALF Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 John Madden is a great one BOOM , RIP we will miss you. Quote

Pete Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 RIP John Madden. A great guy. Thank you for all the years I enjoyed watching and listening to you- from the Raiders, CBS, and now immortalized with Madden football. I played football and sports my whole life. My goal was always to be All Madden team- and that’s how I play. I was never the best player on team- but my uniform was always dirtiest, quickest and I out hustled everyone. Thank you for the inspiration John Madden Quote
loyal2dagame Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Madden needs to be on the cover of the game next year. Lots of fun memories because of him. Rip you turducken loving big guy. Quote
Spiderweb Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 RIP John Madden and thank you for enriching my life everytime I watched a game you announced. In an age of over hyped people, you can never be hyped enough. You were the absolute best. Thank you Mr. Madden Quote
Chandler#81 Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Together again. This sideline tandem scared the Hell out of the NFL. Quote
chris heff Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 John Madden became head coach of the Raiders because head coach and AFL coach of the year, John Rauch, resigned to become head coach of the Bills. Madden of course went on to HOF career, Rauch was fired after going 3-10-1 and floating the idea to convert O.J. Simpson to WR. Quote
T&C Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 I don't have Fox sports, just regular Fox... but I read that NFLN was going to do replays of All Madden. Don't see it on the guide at all. Any idea's? Quote
