Josh Allen doesn’t have a single first round pick on offense

The Bills last first round pick on offense was Sammy Watkins even though of course Diggs was traded for using a 1 he was picked in the 5th..

Amazing this guy produces at this level without one single first round pick used on offense no linemen…no TEs…no Wrs…No RBs

Entire offense was built through free agency and mid round picks

More proof that Beane has hit on a couple free agents and mid round picks

But Josh is a damn special player this is Brady in his prime type of stuff

Daboll has made reference to this in the past.

I think that changes this year.

With the amount of great young QB talents as there are in the AFC the Bills can't really afford to do the Green Bay thing where they have drafted defense in round 1 almost every year for a decade.

I mean there is a lot that goes into it our biggest needs on O would be interior lineman and TE, if there isn't a guy you should take at the spot you're drafting you shouldn't reach for them.

True but they also have a bunch of proven veteran talent in Diggs, Morse, Williams, Beasley, Dawkins, Sanders. Its simply not true to say they have not invested in the offense.  They have just in different ways and of course Diggs was acquired with a first round pick. They drafted two RBs in back to back years and also drafted Davis Ford, and Knox in the first three rounds.

New England and Gb model.  Long term sustainability with an elite qb.  I think McBeane is more like Biliecheck  in that they are willing to make a bold move.  Greenbay doesn’t do flash moves historically.  I think if Etinne or Harris was there at 30 Buffalo would have drafted them.

Chris Olave and Treylon Burks are currently projected as late 1st rounders.

If a WR like that is available when we pick, I think we owe it to Josh to make that investment.  (Provided IOL is also addressed in FA/Draft)

This is slightly misleading. The draft is not the current value of a player only the initial expectation. We have at least mid-level talent on offense and I think before the season started many would have ranked it much higher than mid-level. Diggs, Beasley, Sanders, Davis, and Knox was previously touted as one elite groups in the league. Dawkins and Morse are two of the higher paid OL in the league and Williams is also up there. So they may have not invested heavily in 1st round draft picks outside of Allen, but that does not mean the talent is lacking. Plus they have used 1 2nd and 4 3rds on offense the last 3 years. Not to mention we have only had 3 first round picks the past 4 season and one was Allen.

Gabe was a 4th rd pick.

You draft primarily for the long run.........the immediate needs should be addressed with pro personnel.

I suspect they will pursue a stud interior OL and probably make another run at Gronk and then settle for a decent journeyman to back up Knox and then probably going back to the TE in round 3 or 4 (it's a good TE draft).

WR should be a high priority in the draft, IMO.     It's not an explosive group.   Extremely low YAC.   And with Beasley and Sanders likely gone(IMO).........and Gabe not yet putting together a full season of production........it's an immediate need as well.

I know Diggs wasn't previously a first round pick, but the Bills spent a first round pick on him. IMO, that counts as a first round pick.

Also, going forward, it's going to mean less as the Bills are likely going to be picking fairly late in upcoming drafts. That is, of course, based on the belief that the Bills are going to be a perennial playoff team for at least several years. The real elite rookie talent tends to be up in the top ten, or so picks. I'd love to see Beane trade up for a prime target-- I have a feeling he could negotiate a better deal than that misguided Whaley selling-the-farm for Watkins pick.
