And that's just based on passing yards and TDs. Not saying it's right, per se. But it seems like that's what wins it. Number one overall seed has always been the largest share percentage in terms of what is important in winning the award in my opinion. It’s about 50%. Multiple quarterbacks will always have really good numbers. But only two will end up with the number one seed. Quote
RalphWilson'sNewWar Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Rushing/Total TDs is interesting stat to consider. considering other teams have QBs/Red Zone Running Games that do not require their QB to do it themselves. Packers get near the goal line…they Have 2-3 Capable Hogs to plow that rock home. Where most teams hand off…Buffalo gives it to Allen. Not sure Guys like Brady or Rodgers get penalized in voting when their running games poach TDs. Quote

The title of this thread is, "Allen leads in total yards and total TDs now?". Quote

Josh will need to be lights out the last two games in order to even be in consideration. The Pro Bowl means nothing. Eh, no…Rogers (and Allen) is/are ahead of Brady Quote

But at the end of the day the Bills are 9-6 and the Packers are 12-3 (and with a worse defense than the Bills), and Rodgers' numbers are once again incredible. Rodgers has Jones and Dillon. Quote

nkreed Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Either FMIA or MMQB had a section on MVP candidates, despite both staying with how great Allen was, and then did not have Allen listed for MVP. I think he should be talked about as a candidate, but this season's MVP pool has been determined. Combined with the pro bowl votes, it's clear the NFL doesn't want him to be a superstar (insert small market cliche here). 1 Quote

We can go round and round. How many games has Allen lead the team in rushing? Both are great but Allen is the offense for Buffalo. 1 Quote

Herbert actually leads the NFL in both of those categories and has the same number of TDs as Rodgers. Stafford also has more 4Q comebacks, more yards, more game winning drives and more TDs than Rodgers. Rodgers is on the outside looking in, this year. Oh ... plus he's a douchebag. YES !!! 1 Quote
